Thats why xperia camera is always worst. Even MotoG has higher dxo score than this overpriced xz3.
And it will be no change after the merging between mobile + electronics business. Phone product will never be allowed to use any techs from camera/tv product.

Now they even include the Sony mobile under all media division to proof that they have the same goals. I just don't understand why China propaganda as it is bankrupt. But the same time praising China rise up on every technology. Do you know advertising can leading people mind. Yes we have found China get many innovation, but Sony aslo did it, but why they only discredit Sony while praising China.. ? Do you know why they are doing this?

Has there been any updates to improve the accuracy and speed of the rear fingerprint sensor of the XZ3? (considering the phone has no iris or retina scanner)
Would you guys think the selfie camera of the XZ3 is better than that of the OnePlus 6T or Galaxy S9+?
And will Sony still continue to update its XZ3 phone with monthly security patches and possibly Android Q?

Here's what you needed to do: Omnibala... moreI applaud your efforts in trying to fix Sony but did you consider that Sony haven't got the technology or the means to manufacture thin bezel phones? If they could do it they would have done this when all the competitors made the switch from fat to thin 18 months ago. China are killing the competitors right now with technology, manufacture, R&D and price and most of the world's materials used for manufacturing come from china. Sony bought ericsons 50% share about 8 years ago they have a old factory and as their a Japanese company it costs them more to get parts and materials shipped in from China so they manufacture their own housing and its cheaper to make thick bezel phones. The xz3 is one piece of 2 year old tech using an outdated 845 chipset outdated 19mp camera only 4gb ram thick bezels they need help. You notice how long it takes them to transfer to new technology in their flagships they have to ask their bosses from the other successful divisions of Sony corp for more money every time they release a phone that flops.

It's nowhere near as bad as you think and could easily be the best out there if Sony improved on a couple of things.

And I really like how this phone looks in general but due to the curved back glass it can potentially easily slip from surfaces to the floor

I have used the Xperia XZ3 for about 5 months now.
The things I do not like about my device:
-Volume button could maybe be a tiny bit more tight. But at least it did not get worse over time.
-Main camera is not very good
-Touch screen, especially on the curved edges, is not that responsive
-Oleophobic coating failed me on a few dots / stains, could be my error though
-6GB RAM would have been nice because often times the device fails to keep everything open
Neutral:
-it would have maybe been better if the device was 4K because sometimes I think the screen has to be a little bit sharper
-for me the battery life is good enough
What I like:
-Performance
-Software
-Screen colors
-durability (I have let drop the device a few times already but other than some metal scuffs and glass scratches everything is fine)
-There is no notch
-No Bixby aswell
Overall this device is far from perfect but as of right now it still is the best for me.

AI color, nope you wont get from sony, sony give almost natural look, if you wanna AI color just use photo filter apps, so everyone can learn the photo editing
