... moreOk, I don't want to burst your bubble, but wtf man? It's almost 2019 and you're asking for ancient outdated technology like IR and analog radio??!
By the way, it HAS NFC.
Everything nowadays has wifi, so asking for IR is just dumb. Go buy new products and quit whining.
Low ram? For the most vanilla Android out there? Not to mention Sony's software optimization is beyond everyone else.
The only valid point you have is the 3.5mm jack, but it seems everyone will ditch it in max 2 years, even if we like it or not.
Sony has released a GREAT device this time and you have to accept it.
And please don't give me those cheap china phones as an example. I'd rather use a silly phone instead one of those replicas, just because they are a bit cheaper (but they compensate by spying the hell out of you).

I like the design but overall the device bring nothing special here.. !!
comparing with 6 months old S9+ and still can't compete .. If this device came out last year 2017 maybe people will be more interested into it. Now to purchase S9+ is so much better. And the most annoying thing is the place of fingerprint reader, such a big device need a phone grip but with this reader at the middle it will be annoying for sure.

Sony is just catching up to Samsung now. This phone is only on the same level as last years Samsung Galaxy S8.

With optimization of OS, 4gb is enough. All those who add up ram, are not doing it for making future proof, but they have preplanned stuff to load up the Android from their side ( which they claim as features ) and are well aware that it would slow down the phone. Hence the add more ram. And people think more ram is better.
More RAM is in fact a signal that your Android OS is loaded with OEM s stuff that can slow down the working.

Yep, JOLED (INCJ / Panasonic / Sony / JDI backed) is now a subsidiary of JDI, which is a joint venture of Sony / Toshiba / Hitachi ... basically, the OLED panel in the phone is Sony / Panasonic, and P-OLED in this case likely refers to JOLED's printed OLED technology.

atb, 30 Aug 2018That is a very god phone with good design and some new func... more64 GB is the standard entry level nowadays, only Note 9 is on 128 GB. I don't think RAM would be an issue if the phone and software are optimized properly. Not very future-proof at 4gb I suppose though.

Sushant Sic, 31 Aug 2018193 Gram Phone only has 3300mah battery... do u really think a phone only has a battery in the shell? .. Sony add various other things, BIONZ, etc with other processors with the image sensor. maybe buy one and break it open so you can open your mind a little bit
