Sony Xperia XZ gets $50 cheaper in the US, now sells for $649.99

Sony's newest flagship smartphone, the Xperia XZ, launched in the US at the beginning of this month. Ever since, it's been sold unlocked for $699.99. But right now you can get it for less, which should be helpful if you've found that initial price non-palatable.
Amazon has decided to shave a cool $50 off the price of the Xperia XZ, taking it down to $649.99. That's still a lot, but at least it's in line with other competing high-end devices. The phone is available in black, blue, and silver. It's unclear if this is a limited time deal or a permanent price cut, though. So if you want to be sure you'll save $50, you might as well buy the Xperia XZ as soon as possible.
The handset comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p touchscreen, the Snapdragon 820 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 23 MP f/2.0 rear camera with phase detection and laser autofocus, a 13 MP selfie snapper, and a 2,900 mAh battery. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It will work with GSM-based carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Straight Talk, MetroPCS, Simple Mobile, Bright spot, Net10, h20 Wireless, and Cricket.

Yes, due to pricing and Sony can compete in price too if they target a larger scale. Selling phones at $450 each would allow Sony to sell almost 2-3x as many phones and make a much bigger profit.

Sony, forever! Sony never deteriorates over time. Never explodes, doesn't crack up easily (especially with new metal-back phones). Can work for ages. Sony gives you business-class look. Not toy-ish look as Samsung does. Sony, forever. Happy Xpe...
