It's worth mentioning that the Xperia X and X Compact are still only Android 7.0 and haven't been updated to version 7.1.

I have an international version (fingerprint sensor works) of X Compact. I'm not getting any of these security updates. I'm still at Android 7.0, security update as of Feb 2017. How and where do I get the latest updates?

Sony Xperia XZ dual after android update to version number 41.2.A.2.223 mobile phones often experience incidents of the system where the phone often experience restart repeatedly

I don't think they will get the update as they are low end phones from Sony as opposed to their midranges and of course flagships. Let's hope they provide the update and put pressure on other brands (cough "Samsung" cough).
