I am using z1 and z3 right now but problem which i faced in z series that camera could not open if the phone temperature increase more by 39 temperature.
You cannot record your video more than 10 min because camera will be shut down due ti high temperature

Get your facts straight before say something, S6 is a powerful device but, obviously not the best in every aspect. Let's don't get to it's mono speaker either.. I mean people pay 800e for a phone with one speaker? Seriously? Are we back in 20s?

Sony has benn making odd moves lately. But from what I can see, in 2013 they released the Z1 in september 2013 and then months later they released the Z2 which was a little upgrade from the Z2 but with no compact model then in september 2014 they released the Z3 and Z3c. Now a few months later they released a Z3+ which is 'a little upgrade' from the Z3. So in September 2015 there will be a true flagship that sony will release I'm sure.

i have a problem sony z3 the telephone is almost the best butt the camera lens is plastic zo when its in your jeans the lens get skrets en your phots like misty why no zafir glas you pay big money and get a cheap camera the battery is asome

Guess I judged quickly and to be honest I'll also get a smartphone next year, but it has to beat my W995 in audio as well. I'm sure that it will be sony who will do it.. and next year same day we will be talking about Z5. Only reason I'll head to a smartphone is the bigger much higher resolution screen. I like watching movies on my W995, and I pull a lot of attention by doing that. But the low resolution and the small screen are disappointing. Imagine me with 5 inch smartphone watching movies in a bus or i dunno, ill make a hit :P
Other thing I want a smartphone is Playstation and gameboy emulators! That's the main reason I'm heading there. Besides these I also need the compass because I'm an explorer. The flash is also important to me, and finally sony is making it bigger. Z3 has a tiny one, but this one has a bigger flash. Finally. But its the width that worries me.. its too thin to be durable. And too thin to have a great camera and loud speakers BUT until I get my hands on it, I can't be certain about anything.

Smart phones are useful to me since I can't carry my desktop where ever I travel, can I? In 2011, I was thinking like you, that smart phones are unnecessary. After my phone broke, I had to buy a smartphone, and then I realised how wrong I was. There is a limit to everything in life. Food is good, isn't it? But when you eat too much, it causes a lot of health problems. Same with smartphones. If you use it within a limit, its good. If you are addicted to smartphones, its a great trouble. At home, I use computers. When travelling, I use a smartphone. Those who are owning a smartphone don't need to change their phones every year, who told you that nonsense? Some may do, but my Z1C is a year old, its still like new, and I have no plans for upgrading it at least for 2 years. And, its still one of the fastest phones around.

700$ price tag, fumbled release in Japan ad rest of world. No qhd major improved is same 3 years past. Why it it not closing down its cell division. Out too.

it's more of a hybrid between the Z2 & Z3 with worse battry life .. it's called Z4 in Japan but internationally they calling it Z3+
So the next device will be Z4 internationally & Z4+ in Japan Or it will be Z5 in japan & Z4 Worldwide ???

Smartphone obsession lead to anger, afraid to speak out and on the long run loneliness. When you realise that all the people you once used to hang out with are only "friends" inside your smartphone. Pathetic if you ask me. I feel sorry for those under me who comment with s6 is better, z4 is better and all these.. I really wonder how they look in real life, and how many real friends they have.

I've had 4 smartphones, namely samsung galaxy s4, sony xperia v, Ipohone 6 (biggest piece of crap i ever owned) & htc x one. I've also had the w995 amd it was great, though of any phones i had before smartphones (and that's quite a few) the w902 is hands down the phone with the best audio quality (king of audio as you like to call it), and at the same time build quality (except for old nokias) i ever owned.

Everything is easier with 5" android phone. N78 is also a smartphone, its just very limited. BBM, adobe reader, the browser with flash, google maps and drive all are a must have for me. Its also fun to have photoshop touch on my phone...

And I still stand to what I said, W995 is the king in audio! That's the fact and Z3, M9, S6 and pretty much any smartphone can kiss my loudness and quality like a loser! Anyway I won't argue with you on this anymore since you are obsessed with smartphones. Get help mate, you mustn't be so obsessed with gadgets. And I have a PC to do what's important, a phone is a PHONE! Not a pc, not a laptop, not a camera etc. So I'm quite happy with mine for what it HAS. question is if you all are happy with yours, because changing phones every year says that you are not.
