Do you have any whatsoever proof that your called conventional antenna tech design has any disadvantages opposed to "whateveryoucallit" strip antena design?
What crackin freakin screen?!? That 0.035% of z3s people reported to had screen selfcracked? That is 3.5 promils, not even a percentage....

But on a sidenote, logicaly cover protected antenna tech inside the omnibalance is waay more convenient and smarter than unprotected antena tech strips on the outside design prone to scratch and damage

I gave the proof Sony design is conventional, outdated, no improvement. Every vendors learns, sony doesnt. I own a z1 compact and a Motorola moto g 4g. Both are equal in reception. My BlackBerry bold 9780 had poor reception in my area, and no other phone has this problem. I won't buy Chinese shitphones. I have never owned a Samsung smartphone, nor do I plan to own one. You trolls are just arguing about some nonsense, you all don't even own a xperia phone, so why don't you all keep quiet?

Fanboys would say that their phones are perfect. I have not had any reception issues with my z1c. I own the device, so I know better than you ;-)

The design patents recorded show that apple samsung and the others like HTC have all used similar designs to those patented by sony. Ice owed several Sony and Sony Ericsson phones of the past 15 years and never had an issue with any if them on multiple carries. The fact still remains that there will be some bad runs in line manufacturing and thus causing the bad raps that some might shoot out. Sony is and was a premium tech manufacturer that's cought in the marketing war of samsung and apple. Many companies have sucomb to the marketing giants in the past 10 years. Sony is still one of the best phone makers and there is nothing anyone here on the board can say to change that.

Now, all phone with metal chassis and metal unibody have antenna strip on metal frame. Check iphone 4s, 5,6, xiaomi mi4,note, pro, htc one m7, 8,9, samsung galaxy Alpha, S6, huawei p6,7,8. Xperia z series antenna tech is conventional.
