I have fixed 5 xperia z1 compacts and 3 z2's in the last month alone.
I don't work in the phone repair industry or had any phone repair training.I buy broken spares or repairs off ebay then use youtube to see how to repair them before reselling as user refurbished.
I do this as a hobby after realizing how easy it is to fix phones when I smashed my Z2 screen on new years eve without having insurance I was left with no choice.
The Xperia Z line is just as fixable by the user as any other smartphone.

I hope this Xperia z 4 comes out soon. I want this phone, and don't want to see sony abandon the phone from poor sales related to competition coming to market sooner.
Sony makes excellent products, and should reclaim it's foothold in the home electronics sector.

My opinion, Ios and android should not be compared with performance like this...
btw i am appreciated that Xperia/Sony is really putting effort on "giving users experiences", keep up your path and do your best to prove yourself in this year!support from Malaysia

I would say i am appreciated by Sony'smartphones. The big different between the Sony's smartphones with those of other brands are Sony is doing their best to make the hard wares convenient to users while most of other brands make smartphones for business. I read some of Japanese articles regarding Xperia Z4 while ago and found that they really had put a hard effort on users' entertainment: music, cameras, videos, they really are doing something! Thank you

Have done it with s5, doing it with s6
Remember news items from their own camp of s5 shipments of 40 mill in first 6 months?
All bluff...
If those numbers were indeed correct, why then this kind of dramatic design turnover in S6?
Samsung bluffs and lies, its their marketing logic...

all those user oriented media specificaly made for lounge, and free competitions, giveaways, camera usage classes....
No other OEM is actually that user oriented...
Xperia lounge is great
That and Sony Entertainment Network integrated...

So as an individual consumer you are so valuable.

I'm using Z1, it's amazing.. I was going to buy Z2.. I love by heart, As I heard abt Z4 m waiting it very restlessly. Hope it will be in my pocket.

I love the SONY Xperia Z phones. However, I think/wish SONY would get their act together! Sure the Z3 was only released Sept 2014, 6 months ago but that was SONY's choice. IMO the Z4 needs to be released SOON or else no flagship features will get people to buy if they have already just bought a phone. Rumored SAMSUNG pre-sales are 20,000,000! If SONY had announced the Z4 I believe this figure would have been smaller. But who am I to know?!? I am just one of the consumers that would have bought one!
