zk, 09 Nov 2015why battery life less compare to z2, z3 and z3+Because of the snapdragon 810, the lack of adequate thermal management + the slimness of this phone are the factors of the heating problem which heavily impacts the battery life unlike Z3 or Z5, hence why the Z5 is actually thicker and heavier due to the added heatsink.
Z6 battery probably rocks next year with android marshmallow and snapdragon 820.

its getting hot too much. not impressed with the phone, and even handling is not easy too slippy..

Z3plus doesnt have cracking isue like Z3... Z3plus and z5 have same sxreen coated..... Nothing spcl in z5 fingerprint and camera and heating issue is there in z5 but Z3plus gets 15minutes of usage z5 gets 20minutes of usage..... But I dont see difference in camera..... Only heatg isue all same to same....

Xperia Z5 does not overheat or burn a hole like the Z3+, hence Z5 has better performance. Has MUCH better camera, Z5 ranks 1st while Z3+ ranks below 10 in dxomark. Better battery than Z3+. Stronger design, better design, fingerprint reader. So Z5 is much better than Z3+.

Hey guys just now I saw z5..... Guys kool nothing special in it. .. Same display everything.... Z3plus heats in camera for 3minits.... Z5 heats in camera for 5minutes..... I m happy Z3plus is a big deal..... Same mobile with new dress.. Nothing spcl except fingerprint

This is the worst mobile phone I used for years. Paying a high price for a phone that heats up quickly and burns up battery quickly. I have to use save battery mode and it only lasts 6 hours with a couple of short calls and a couple of whatsapp messages. When taking more than 10 photos, the system automatically shuts you down. I am using the latest firmware. I took it to Sony service station, they tested the phone and said the battery is normal. I do not recommend anyone to buy any Sony mobile phones.

Never tried recording 4 k, but just now after reading camera closing remarks. Well I recorded 4 k video for 2 min 35 sec and then ended recording myself. There was no auto shutdown. Heat was with in limits only. The ambient temp was 24' C.
