Less overheating due to dual copper heat pipes, much better cameras, better performance, stronger chassis, better grip, fingerprint reader, better battery, and many more. Z3+ wasn't a good flagship at all, marred with overheating issues, subpar camera, same design as Z3.

When i used z3 i thought z3+ is time waste..unfortunately i purchesed z3+... Awsome phone guys disadvantage is looks like z3 and z5 releasing next month many ppl feel z5 better name better.... All is same... Processor is same as z5.... According to me i feel z3+ good mobile great mobile 100% changed music version....camera tooo..display also....wait till z5 release so that z3+ price will be dropped that time we can purchase it... I m happy with z3+..thankyou

Hi guys i used z3 now i m using z3+ comparing to it this is far better than z3... Z5 or z5 premium whats spcl in it.... Nothing like some thing..camera display processor changed to compaing z3....z3+ processors same as z5. Z5 premium...ppl are crazy about finger print... I used fingerprints in samsung but i dint used it... Many are crazy at starting after some days bored about fingerprint.....z3+ also a big brand... Processor same as z5.... Problem is looking like z3... Music version changed.display changed. Camera quality changed..... Please make true news

Sell your Z3+ and buy the Z5/Z5 Premium when they release. They fixed the overheating issue by putting dual heat pipes and thermal paste over the SoC. And much improved camera, design, performance, display, features and what not.

I had the Xperia Z3 and now I have the Xperia Z3+. I wouldn't had bought this phone if it wasn't to give the Z3 to my father, because I was happy with the Z3.
However, I really think the Z3+ is better. It has a better design, it's lighter and faster. The camera is good, but actually it's one of the things that I feel it could be better, although it suffers from the same problems as the Z3 (and if anything the Z3+ one is a little better). The main problems for me is being a little slow to process when taking a shot (maybe because it does a lot of post-processing) and also some issues with backlight in some pictures. I find it difficult to balance the exposure when there's light from one particular source (like the sun, or a big screen). It seems that either the source is reproduced correctly or the rest, not both (in other words, it seems the HDR mode is not working as expected).
The only thing I think it was better in the Z3 was the battery. It lasted way more. This is not big issue for me, because I like to have 100% in the morning, so I'm used to charged it every night no matter what. But with the Z3 I could used it comfortably all day and never reached 0%. With the Z3 plus I have to be a little more careful. It's still a good battery tho.
Bottom line, I would not trade my Z3+ for the Z3 again, although I admit the Z3 is still a great phone, and there's little reason to upgrade to the Z3+.
I haven't felt the overheating issue that much actually. And has far as I know, the Z3 also had this problem. I honestly don't think there's a big difference. Maybe it reaches higher temperatures. But in the Z3 I also had many camera crashes because of this. It's not a new thing.

Z5 Premium is much better, and it looks amazing and very exotic. Perhaps you haven't seen the phone? BTW the huawei phone you mention looks like a an HTC One phone without the stereo speakers, and it looks kinda ugly. Don't compare the Z5 Premium to cheap low grade phones like mate S.

This device is a hoax, it is nothing Sony says it is ... the battery life is shitty, even after the recent software update the phone function keeps hanging. Then there is the heating who said I wanted a heater?

Much more beautiful, 2,5D glass is a mark for flagship. And diamod cut frame is georgeous.
More advanced fingerprint scanner, double as trackpad and ofcourse better placement.
Force touch display.

Just now updated but version dint changed...... But all features in z3 5.1.1 have same to z3+ 5.0.2 we dont want bother about 5.1.....5.0.2 new update 407.5 mb not mobile and charging is like butter... Update makes mobile great..y they gave new update and dint change version.. I think there will be something else in 5.1.1 like z5.... All is well new update is awsome and no hangs very fast

Z3+ still in 5.0.2. No news of 5.1.1 for ANY new sony phone for that matter. Maybe its because the new phones are 64 bit, so sony needs more time to add them to AOSP.

Huawei has captured the low-mid range market, but high range is still out of their reach. I never considered P8 as an rival to Z3+ or S6 or G4.

But Sony and LG are more reputable than Huawei and other chinese phones. There are damaged phones IN ALL companies.
