There should be some kind of setting that if phone is on AC power then it uses AC and when on battery power then it uses battery and if battery is at 100% the charging will discontinue until charger is removed. Sadly the option is not available for every phone or tablet or laptop, whatever...

Currently not only for this phone but even for XPERIA XZ ANDROID 7.1.1 update that time I waited till June then I finally got the update. It is based on the region. U are counted lucky man. I lived in Singapore and sometimes updates took longer than u expected. India got the software updates earlier than here

                Updated to nougat 7.1.1.
                The heat is not very bad now, clock speed back to 2 ghz, thanks for the update

XPERIA Z5 is using a SNAPDRAGON 810 which heats up very fast. While u charge and play games the heat is going to bring down the battery even why charging. This is common sense. And please stop your bad habit because it is going to damage your charging port for your XPERIA Z5. Then I guess it will be "faulty" for u

                              best phone but it is not that much best in 2017.

                              one thing i hate that is heating problem if we shooting video continuously 5-6 minutes camera will close automatically
