Both have the same processors too, but only exception is Z3 is clocked higher. You say Z3 can't be called Z2 1,01 because its more advanced? In what way? They have same internals. Z3+ has newer internals than Z3, so its more advanced than Z3 and hence can't be called Z3 1,01. The jump from Z3 to Z3+ is bigger than Z2 to Z3.

    Z2 has it's things, but Z3 is not the same device. You can't call Z3 a Z2 v.1,01 because it's a different, advanced device.
    Z3+ however, is still a Z3. Same looks, same size, same attractive device etc. You can't deny the similarities. So yeah, it's Z3 v.1,01.
    ps. yeah I did say my ex boyfriend and ye, I'm a dude. Not that my sexuality has to do with anything but since you asked, there you have it.

Seriously, you think Sony gave money to reviewers for them to tell that Z3+ is better? I'm sorry, but that's quite dumb. Sony would give money to some reviewers, for them to tell that the Z3+ is better than S6/G4/M9. But, NO company, not even Sony, would give money to any reviewer for them to tell that their new flagship product is better than it's predecessor. And I've tried them both , the Z3+ definitely feels better.
              P.S. You told you're a man, but you mention 'my ex-boyfriend'?

                P.S. I'll call the Z3 as Z2 1,01 because both the Z2 and Z2 1,01 run the exact same software with same software build version, hence they get updates at the same time. Z1 meanwhile has a different software build version.

                    My ex boyfriend and current friend has a Z3, and a buddy of his has Z3 v1,01.
                    My opinion is based on what I think and not what reviews say. You do know that most reviewers are being paid to praise a device right? And you do know that most reviewers only review, and not own a device right?
                    So their opinion can't be legit, and if they have been paid.. they will praise a device no matter.
                    How old are you? Do you always base your opinion on what you watch and read on the internet? If yes you have serious issues.

                    I don't say that my opinion is better, I'm only stating that my opinion is more valid because it's based on having a device in my hands for hours.

Just check all the reviews in the internet, they clearly state the Z3+ is better than Z3. But if you are in a tight budget, go for the Z2.

How many times do I have to tell you, adaptive brightness on or off, doesn't affect the vibrancy of the display? You can make Z3 warmer, but not more vibrant. You can make the Z3+ display brighter by making the display cold, but no one would do that, because z3+ is super bright without compromising colour accuracy and vibrancy. Z3 is super bright, but compromises color accuracy/ vibrancy. So in summarisation, Z3+ display is better. And white levels are better in Z3+, because In z3, white looks like blue. Is that Good white level for you?
                              As for glass, Sony uses stronger gorilla glass 4 on the Z3+, does that make you feel like plastic? The build is better, but more polished. Anti fingerprint magnet coating on the back too.

                                  the screen brightness much lower than Z3 .. Turn off the adaptive brightness first please..
                                  Yes the Z3 colder.. And you can make it kind of wormer by adjusting the white balance..but how to make the brightness stronger and the white color level higher in Z3+ ???
                                  And about Z3+ speakers.. I'm so much sho0o0o0ocked..

Other smartphone users want vivid displays, like the Z3+ and G4, but galaxy s6 is beyond the limit. And why I brought s6 into the discussion is because that is the best example of a smartphone having an oversatured display.

The same as Z3, but more than thinner frame, and a more polished frame. The glass is also more glossier, which means they are using better glass now. The USB port is now capless. So overall, according to reviewers, Z3+ design is better.
                                      Display? You are absolutely wrong. Z3+ much more vibrant than Z3, as many videos have shown. The Z3 display looks blue and lifeless compared to the rich colored Z3+. Sony took this move because many people complained about the Z3 display being to cold. And what makes the Z3 display marginally brighter than Z3+? The blueness of the display.
                                      Audio. Well, I'm not sure about that. It's only slightly worse than Z3, but at least that made the front of Z3+ look more neat.
                                      Other features added: improved wet finger tracking touch screen, faster Wi-Fi, faster processor, better cameras. Very few improvements, but still, a upgrade from Z3+.

The Snapdragon 810 has got 4 low power cortex A53 CPUs, which is the CPU in use when doing less intensive tasks. Cortex A53 in the direct successor of Cortex A7, which was also a energy efficient CPU, used in cheap phones. Cortex A53 consumes 1/3th the power of Cortex A15 (the CPU used in Z3). And also, Snapdragon 810 is built on 20nm transistors, which means it consumes less than 28nm Snapdragon 801.
