I have z3+ , it runs on marshmallow 6.01 , it's a great phone, the camera is amazing in the dark and in the day light, the battery is some how ok to me in light usage , but if you use 4k video recording it will heat a lot and drain the battery very fast , I've tested it under the water it's reliable , heavy games will make it hot also so you should always plug in the charger if you intend to play games

I bought a sony experia z3+ dual. Agreat phone. After one week, the sim card slot 1 stopped detecting simcard and therefore am only operating with sim slot 2 only. How can i rectify this?

Let's face it, ALL phones do heat up and drain batteries if you turn your ntc, wifi or data, blue tooth and do the hardcore gaming at the same time...turning off all of those when not in use, doesnt drain your battery so much as well as it doesnt heat up too. I'm always at "stamina mode" so, the phone lasts a day and a half and not really 2 days as they claim it to be, but it still is good enough for me. No heating after 30 camera shots, and its not heating watching 5 more videos (with the use of wifi) after snapping pics. Im also happy that Sony gave this model a go signal to be upgraded to Android Nougat soon..with that said, this phone is worth buying.

21hrs after being discharged I achieved 4 hrs SoT which includes 1hr of YT and a total of 42mins of gaming with 15% juice left. All in all, my Z3+ can comfortably give me a full day of mixed usage and yes, mine is a dual-sim version (single-sim should fare better than this most of the time). Want an awesome battery life? go get those budget phones which have 4000mah battery already.

AnonD-429807, 09 Sep 2016Google play service is currently the cause of this draining... moreBattery is a bit weak it is a reality...not because of any google play issue...when using a heavy game it gives 1 minute per 1% of drain...on average day use it gives 10 hrs of happy usage with games call and websurfing

I experienced it a while ago and I could definitely see in the battery usage history that it actually used more power than my total screen on time usage. For some reason I managed to fix that and now I've been regularly getting almost 5hrs of SOT with mixed usage and more than 12hrs of standby. It really sucks when google rolls out an update along with new problems.
Also heating hasn't been an issue for me and it's very much normal for very slim phones like this. This phone's heat actually never goes beyond the NFC logo on the top back part which means the bottom part (where my hand naturally rests when I use the phone) remains cool all the time. It also cools down pretty quick too.

Just bought this phone today..previously I was using z1 and I was very happy with it(a though phone)...this phone is also great but it really heat up fast...and battery drains like he'll..I fully charged my phone hour ago and it is draining fast...any opinions or reviews guy??? Help
