Wow... Perfect phone... 4.7" with same body size as Z3 is a perfect size.Iphone6 dimesion is shamelessly big where u can fit a 5" S4 which is even smaller.I would not really call this Z4C as compact but a REAL FLAGSHIP. It has a huge advantage of being easy to use one handidly and easily pocketable. The extra size of crazy monster LG G3 or even it's larger sibling Z4 is not an advantage but a pain in using one handidly. 4.7" is not small,not crazily big but a PERFECT SIZE except Iphone6 in a crazily big BODY.

And better Glass- hopefully GG4 all around.
If this Compact is $750. or less- take my money
and my first Sony- I like the Z3C seemed a little too fragile and now they probably have fixed everything I didn't like-
Overkill ? Not really, more like future proof for at,least a year or 2 which is a long time.
These Z4 and Z4 C may be Classics for hi performance fans- and yes a serious Pocket Power Android .

1) Larger Battery Capacity with quick charge.
2) Slightly larger screen with little or no size increase in body.
3) Higher res screen.
4) Shatterproof glass, not just tempered glass.
5) Water resistant, but no flaps.
6) Amplified speakers, louder clearer.
7) Plane Phase Detect Camera-THIS one may be
very different, if it's new sensor, much sharper.
8) High Res screen-hopefully won't affect battery life very much.
Other than this and more , like updated visuals and menus ,new software, firmware, it's like a Z1, lol.

Accordingly, OEMs that do customization to avail that provide only a spec-sheet feature .. 90% of the people wouldn't use it .. it's inherently more expensive for the end users as well ..
Data services however should be much cheaper now .. and getting cheaper and cheaper as we speak ..
why? because the world is kinda saturating already with voice lines (number of lines being sold is declining severely). So, smart telecom companies start targeting the upcoming booming business opportunity; the Data Services.
It'll come to your country eventually like it's coming to everywhere (i live in the middle east BTW) .. :)

You should try Z3 Compact, I think you never try this phone, It has a good camera.

The Z1C and Z3C have essentially the same dimensions, but the Z3C is actually thinner and houses a bigger screen and a bigger battery. Why are all of you people complaining?! You got bigger everything in a slightly smaller package!
There's no telling what the dimensions of the Z4C will be...maybe Sony will make the phone about the same size plus a mm or so on the width or height. A bigger screen and 3000 mAh battery in essentially the same body? Seriously, people...Sony has a lot of wiggle room with those big bezels they started with...

Native 3G video calls are still very usefull in many many countries, where 1 mb is almost equal to 1 usd. Not everyone lives in Germany or UK or Korea or the US. Data plans are very expensive in the majority of the world and offer only a few mb. Of course not enough for video calls through apps. Plus native 3g video calls are platform/os/app independent with all the benefits this means.
I am a Samsung fan, which has 3g native video call on every 3g capable phone they produce and also all my family and most friends. I prefer companies work to cover our needs, not ourselves to lower our needs to adjust companies abilities. If Sony or another one can not offer more than Sammy, let them die.
