Sony Xperia Z4 now available for purchase in Japan

11 June, 2015

The Xperia Z4 smartphone - which was unveiled by Sony in Japan back in April this year - is now available for purchase in the country, where NTT docomo is offering it for 93,312 yen ($755).

The carrier has also rolled out an update (with build number 28.0.B.0.457) to the device that fixes an issue related to its speaker volume. The handset will be launched by other Japanese carriers in the coming days.

For those who aren't aware, the Xperia Z4 also has a global version, dubbed Xperia Z3+, which was made official late last month and is set to go on sale later this month.
