AnonD-3744, 30 Jan 2013Ask iPhone users how to handle non removable battery.You have to throw out the phone, if you don't know to fix it. I have one with dead battery bought on 2013. Now I couldn't find a replacement battery even at the service centers. Hahaha..
Forced to buy new phone. NO MORE SONY!!!!

Anyway, I decided to change my phone. No more Sony, as the spares are not available all the time.

I went to service center and they said that the phone can't be repaired. It's a brick now.

I had to send it over to sony for repair... It cost me 70$ (cnd)... According to sony, they changed the battery and the camera (colors issues)...
I have received my phone this week... It is now working fine but can't make a full day without charging the battery... I'd say, a full charged battery last only for about 3-5 hours... The battery drains so fast...I have checked all the setting related to power... Before with Jelly bean i could last a full day without charging the battery
My only regrets toward this phone... I shouldn't have upgraded it to lollipop... I should have stayed with Jelly bean...

I upgraded my sony xperia zl to android 5.0. now my phone will not turn on, its just flashing 'sony xperia' on and off. I have charged the phone for more than 2 days and it will still not turn on. please help me, I cant loose this 1.5yr old phone

hii folks...my Xperia zL updated to lollipop 5.0.2. it is very smooth and nice. but i am not fully satisfied with this lollipop 5.0.2. because when we talk about battery backup then in lollipop battery backup is so bad. and i am also getting a bugs in lollipop 5.0.2. the bugs is whenever i called someone then in that moment i can't able to hear the voice and mike also not working in that time. what should i do guyzzz. please anyone help me fast. my contact nmbr is 8097461076

Garbage,run away from sony phones.I am so disappointed,always in protective case with screenprotector on,but still garbage,started to restart itself,no network properly...

I'm using this mobile since 2yrs, no issues till kitkat. After lollipop update i get black screen whenever i strt playing any game,i dnt knw why its happening! Is this happening for myself alone or any of you have this issue..

What happening is that when a phone updates it uses a lot of RAM and battery. After two years a battery wears out a lot. Sudden discharging of the battery made it to heat up and thus the battery went dead. I changed the battery. No, didn't do it myself. But now it's working just fine. Hope your beloved ZL will come back to life as well. Ciao.

From Mexico...I've had this baby since May 2013 and is still super cool, but now my battery runs out at midday (normal after 2 years of usage). After I updated to Lollipop 5.0 It has the "sudden death" problem that boots normally at 10% or lower battey.
The same here, it is "not possible" to change the battery on a Sony Center but after watching videos on youtube and searching amazon, it is possible to buy a new battery (from china) and DIY to replace the battery.
Anyone has replaced the battery? Did it work?
