dhiraj1mumbai, 07 May 2013 Hello, I bought Xperia ZL 2-3 days back and it's batter... moreyour set has some issue because mine does not have such issue.it does not take too much time to charge.huge sets take almost 2 hours to charge completely.my set lasts for almost 36 hrs after normal use

Can someone tell me what are the exact différences between the C6503 and the C6506?
Is the C6503 a compatible 4G terminal?

Hello, I bought Xperia ZL 2-3 days back and it's battery drain so fast i.e. 4-5 hrs without use and 100% charge.
Also I have noticed that it takes to long for charging as well i.e. around 7-8 hrs for 100% charge.
I have never faced these problems on my Xperia Go.
Could you please suggest any resolution?

i dk if you can call it heating problem, i mean all quad and dual core phones are heating when playing intensive game over 10 min :D

have been using this set for almost 7 days.like almost every thing about it.tft screen works as good as super amoled.i hv used htc one x,note 2,s 3 and many other sets but zl camera is the best.pixels are perfect.battery lasts for almost 36 hours for normal use.sound is far better then the reviews here.i hv got beats audio and it works perfect with it so no such issue of great sound.

I own xperia zl,it has nice features and good spec. But im not happy with battery performance. Worst thing is it over heats everytime if i use morethan 8-10mins continuously(This is under room temperature only) and if i start playing games it burns my hand, even the front glass heats alot. I feel that much heat/radiation is not good for human health. I dont feel like holding it for long. I dont understand whether this is problem with my particular handset or model defect.

suggest... more Battery life on the ZL is decent. I get about 5+ hrs. of "screen on" time with a day's standby with moderate use (3hr web browsing via wifi, 1/2hr music, 1/2hr hd video, 1 hr call etc).
I would suggest you to uninstall/disable the sony pre-installed apps which you don't use. There is a thread at xda about the apps safe to remove on Z/ZL. Also, the google apps drain a lot of battery. Turn off/disable google now, google location access, latitude, etc if you don't use them. Disable auto sync of google/other accounts (unless important to you). Also, I suggest you not to use stamina mode as in the current firmware build (.434), it seems to drain more than saving the battery.
Have a look at your battery usage and see if any app is draining unusually high percentage of battery. Also, check if your phone is able to sleep properly or if it has high no. of wakelocks. You may use the app "better battery stats" for this but it requires root access. Identify the cause of wakelocks (if any) and disable/update the app causing it.
Screen on the ZL is very bright and drains a lot of battery. So, try to limit its brightness level to 30% or less for indoors. If you don't have/use 3G then try switching the network mode to "gsm only". Using wifi (if/when available) instead of 3G data saves battery too. Some say that turning off bravia engine saves battery but I, personally, can't see any real difference.
And try not to use the phone while charging, thus avoiding overheating which deteriorates the battery performance in the long run. Also google about optimal battery (Li-ion) charging.

i'm totally confused with this device...
battery li... more I've had opportunity to capture some good shots with the ZL camera. I think the camera hardware is good but the pic quality (noise reduction) could be improved by sony (software update).
Use Normal mode, ISO auto, hdr off, flash off, metering center during daylight. Landscape scene mode works well too esp for foliage.
At evening/indoors, use normal mode, ISO 200/400, hdr/flash off, metering average.
At night/poor light, iAuto mode may work well sometimes, otherwise use the same settings as evening with flash on (if req) or hdr on (if capturing buildings etc at night). Alternately, Night scene mode works well at night/indoors.

Where is the loudspeaker review? You have said there`s will be a full review and what we`ve got is only camera review.
