sony should have launched it with cortex A-15 based processor since snapdragon S4 is a generation behind when it will be launched other phones will be cortex A-15 based.
Although real world performance would be not that behind.
I am not sure about battery life since sony has been known to put smaller batteries
Rest of the specs and features look amazing

Its written its going to be released in Q2, they should release it much sooner. From q2 onwards all eyes and ears will be on sgs4.
Its best for sony to release this early and grab as much as market as possible globally.I had one and it was amazing with good quality. Also sony should lean a thing or too about marketing from nokia and samsung.
Taking sgs4 head on won't do sony any good, so its better to get it released soon.

XperiaUser, 07 Jan 2013I cant wait to own this BEAST fone, just hope battery wont ... moreWhen not using your data..simply shut it off under network settings and make sure under accounts and sync..that that is shut off as well,when not using it as well..I get two full days when having the features shut off on my android phone.

85-94% there, compared to the soon to be S4.
End of the day...
Sony will have better camera and designs.
I'm getting this one, dust and water resistance!
Finally getting away from sammy, now back to sony since sony erric bar phone :)

I cant wait to own this BEAST fone, just hope battery wont suck my expectations. Now i can change my xperia s with this! Dear sony, pls do something with the batt life of ur units. I just simply love the specs of my xperia s.

Well I am sure about 1 think (quality) so phone with this specification it will be better than any phone whith the same spect.
Othr company will have phones more powerful but with less quality. Well good costumer search about quality don't agree with me

Xperia phones have good codec support now a days, and the codecs work. I find too many videos that will not play correctly on my daughters Tab 2 10.1, installing MX Player is a must on Samsung devices as well, paper specs does not help in real life.
And take it one step further, lets talk about HTC. Excellent hardware video decoding, supports so many formats. But in real life they crash and hang when using many of those HW codecs. Samung is 100x better than HTC (who isnt?) but far from perfect.
With MX Player installed i cannot notice any difference between my Note 2 and any Sony Xperia phone. Sony is superior on MP4 HD video, thats one thing i noticed.
