I love this phone.It has really narrow bezels which makes it much more compact to hold than Galaxy S4 and HTC One.And about processor well I managed to overclock it safely to 2Ghz using Doom kernel so it runs faster now.

Thanks everyone for the advice,alrdy upgraded my ZL to 4.3,but stiil running on 1st launch version.Has anyone here in Malaysia gets the latest available software of 10.4.1.B.0.101 yet. Is it via OTA or pc companion?

I bought it on 26-Jan-2013 from Mumbai, Excellent Display, Performance, Camera, After having latest available update 10.4.1.B.0.101 its even heat less. Battery backup 1 full day with full use of call/internet/Wi-Fi/music/game etc.
Overall 4/5 star rating ****.

ok i will try to be objective here (not easy since i love my ZL)
the Z, Z1, ZL, have a terrible battery life, optimus and S4, have slightly better battery, but not great, that is the big issue with smartphones.
on the phones you named, they have slightly better chip-sets than the ZL, so they should behave better with games, also as stated they have a slightly better battery.
i have a ZL and i love it, the one thing i love about this phone over other brands its the build-in dualshock 3 support, no need to root your phone and get 3rd party apps, just plug and play, it will auto pair, and you can use a comfy gamepad in most games nowdays, i recommend you to test the reicast emulator and the PPSSPP if you want to push your phone to its limits, and retroarch if you want full retro systems support, they all work with Bluetooth controllers.
if you do get the ZL, test the IR blaster as soon as you get it, and all its functionality, get a 64GB microSD, lenovo SNAPit, camera FV-5, pro capture, and A-better camera, and a tripod, you will love this phone
you should try out every phone you may want, hold them, test them and make a choice, it will be yours in the end.

It is excellent in everything. It never freezes, and manages loads of apps running at the same time very quickly. It feels very comfortable to have on hands.
It is for sure the best of the 3 phones you are unsure about.
The only downside is a non-very good battery.

So confused what shell i buy Note 2 or Grand 2 Or Sony ZL. all of them in appox. in same price and config. and i also want to get 4.4 update or may be further. also a good battery backup and i used to surf the net alot and thus having a Good Gpu and Good processor ( sd 400 or +) and more then 1Gigs of ram and 5" or more Disply and would be better for video plyback and Gaming. and also let me know if any better models you have in mind. Thanks sony bring me the kitkat
