Does anyone with a ZL running 4.1.2 or 4.2 (or other) can tell me how much battery (%) it comsumes in an ordinary day? Looks like it's not that high as others (75-85%) as it shows less than 30% in mine till now in 4 hours on.
... Weird. I'd like to update to 4.2...

I forgot!
The device gets hot (not much, but it's weird). I browse a bit, play a bit and it's warm. No one of my devices (Razr i, Xperia Pro) does this so easily. Is this related to some bug with Android 4.1.2?
I noticed in the Batery Usage section the "MEDIA SERVER" is keeping awake the device... It shows 57 minutes of "Keep Awake"... and I've only listened a couple of songs... Ad it has consumed 19% of the battery... Any one know ehat can be wrong wit this?
Also, the most annoying thing...
I've just purchased Need For Speed Most Wanted from the Play Store for the ZL (obviously) and it closes giving an error notice!
The error notice says:
"Server error:
A server error has occurred. Please visit eamobile.com/countrygate to choose your country and click the customer support link (500)"
Anyone else having this issue in his/her ZL? Mine is running Android 4.1.2 still... I've just purchased it. PC Companion says it's up to date.
Anyone knows a video or the wat to update it with a retail 4.2 ROM?

Pd: Asphalt 8 looks awesome! High graphics... This device is powerfull enough for any game that comes out up to more than a year from now.

Hey people!
I've just purchased this device (C6502) and it's super fast! And powerful (obviously)!
Any way, I think I need to root it. I really like it! But there are some things that will have to be improved through rooting and perhaps trying a custom ROM. I really hate the nav bar and the notifications bar being GREY!!!!!! How hideous. SONY REALLY, really loves having bad points. It always comes up with these things.
Well, can someone link me to a good video tutorial to root this device? Mine is running 4.1.2 still... Stupid carriers.
Please, I'd appreaciate if you link me to a custom ROM that really improves and adds to what the ZL already is. It'd be cool to try some ROM, I think.
Any one now if Sony will be giving 4.3 to the ZL? THEY SHOULD!

my ZL only show Logo when ... morehave you tried the "reset" button in the back? if you have tried that and the phone still does NOT boot, then get SUS (sony update service), and connect your phone and repair its software, if after this your phone still has that issue then take it to repair.

friends, i need HELP. anyone.
my ZL only show Logo when turn ON, cant start the device.
when i plug in charging it can turn ON. but after UNPLUG the device turn OFF itself.
anyone can help solve this problem?

I think most users face the problem with the inter... moreYes it is weird i have always read also it is clear.if u make comparison bet ZL and Z in terms of earpiece spacr in the top front of the phone u will find how much it is larger than any phone. I have read some complaining from mic issue or other part dfidnt hear u well. But sometimes it is resolved by turninbg noise cancellation on or off

This is the way I do on my Xperia ZL to excess the battery life longer than usual.
> Uncheck the Bravia Engine on display settings
> Use stamina mode for longer battery life span
> & lower than 50% of the brightness display
I'm sure it will helps a lot on your xperia ZL battery life span... Enjoy

Do u mean earpiece sound isn't loud enough to be heard
Or u mean loudspeaker ringing or music isn't loud enough to hear the phone ringing
Or u mean calling thru switching to speakers (for ex while driving) isn't loud enough

Hi guys ,, i have been using this mobile for a week..
The phone looks and feel is great and nice display.
I am satisfied with all features except two..
The Mobile cant detect WIFI properly in places where my previous HTC HD2 works perfectly. Moreover the WIFI keepson disconnecting automatically during downloads, even when screen is on. I checked all options ..

I have used the galaxy 3,4, and Optimus G. I have to say everything about the ZL surpasses all the phone out there. It feel great in the hand and the for a 5" screen the phone is very comfortable. The only issue that I have and many other have the same issue it he lack of volume on the internal speaker. Other than this the phone is the best out there.

reed, 24 Oct 2013Thank you for your kind reply, but deep press is not workin... moresounds like a hardware issue, you should take your phone to repair, because it SHOULD take the pictures when you press the button, as you explain it sounds like the button is damaged, so go before you run out of warranty, any repair should be free within warranty time
