P.S I press on the button when I'm at my homescreen.

just follow the steps
if you want to un-root then just connect your phone to your PC, open SONY UPDATE SERVICE and click on repair phone, it will install the default sony android un-rooted.
also the one-click-root tool will allow you to root-un-root
as stated on those pages, this process goes on your end, you are fully responsible for your phone, if you damage it is on your own risk

i dont've idea about rooting and i came to knew that rooting device unproperly will damage mobile....

But... moreoh you should try to play using an external controller, i recommend you to pair the ps3 controller, and then play any game, you can get an emulator and try a game with it, you will notice that the phone itself does not get warm, it is when the user is holding it that the phone does get warm, but when using an external control the phone remains cool whether it be with a high end game (asphalt8 / real racing 3) or a low end (angry birds); now if you play anything for a long period of time normally (holding your phone with both hands), it will get warm/hot, even when it be a game like angry birds;
so it is not the phone itself, it is actually the user, i encourage everyone here who can pair their ZL with a controller to test, and post whether your phone gets hot or not, mine remains cool.
so with this in mind it is clear that the heat issue, is user related not hardware/software (device) related, but as always this is just my opinion and my personal experience

on a side note movie playback at maximum brightness does make my ZL get a little warm, not much but is noticeable, and this only happens long after the 1 hour continuous playback.

But... moreI think for easily heating up is normal while your on multitasking (specially if you using internet while gaming). Remember the processor was big enough (1.5Ghz Quadcore Snapdragon) for a small smartphone devices like this ZL. Come to think of it, just like while you using a laptop devices for some couple of minute it also heat up. Its normal don't worry. Unlike my samsung S4 before, I cannot hold when start to heat up its look like it gonna be blow. Thanks

Hi,
I've been using my Sony mobile since May.
After updating to Android 4.2.2, I couldn't take screen shot. Even if I hold power buttom and volumn down key at the same time, it still doesn't work.
Initially, I used to see pop-up window for the outgoing call i.e to select either phone/skype/viber to call others. When I clicked on the phone and selected "Always", then I'm not getting the outgoing options. Please help me on how to change the outgoing call options.

Íve already bought this phone n this phone is easy to raise in temperature, am I right..?? But the main poinr here is how to make a screenshot?? Bfo im update this phone I can make a screenshot just by hold the power button n a pop-up come out n I just need to choose to make a scrscreenshot but after the update, I cant do that again.. Please tell me how to make a screenshot.. Sorry bout my English..

I just got a ZL for myself with my pay. I have to say I love it!
As for which device to choose, I thinks its based on your personal preference.
I choose the ZL over the Z is because I do not see the need for a waterproof and dustproof device and the look and style of the device doesn't matter that much to me. And also the Z cost about 100 bucks more than the ZL.
In terms of specs wise, both devices are the same.
