Has got the Handset week back from saholic @13k
I upgraded with its official ROM available at spice website with gingerbred
I had an excellent experience with my MI 410.
With lots of application running, phone still stable.
GPS catches signal very quickly.
Phone network reception is also very good.
camera @5MP is excellent in bright light but average in low light.
Video Recording @720P is good in bright light but again average at dim light.
Battery gets charged completely within 1 hour.
WIFI, Bluetooth works absolutely fine without any problems within 10M range.
Looks is very solid.
With GPS/WIFI continuously ON, battery last from morning till evening.
My Rating is as follow:
Performance@1GHZ processor: 9.9 / 10
Screen responsiveness : 8.0 / 10
GPS warmup &signal accuracy: 9.5 / 10
Camera : 7.0 / 10
Video Recording@720P : 7.5 / 10

Overall I would just say that if you are not brand crazy i.e if you judge things by there quality & not just blindly with brand name then SPICE MI 410 is the best option if you want 3G/ WIFI/ GPS/ Video calling/ 4.0inch Capactive Multitouch screen/ in price range below 15k.

I am using SDHC 8 gb.. Right now enough for me..
If u want to make use of inbuild memory, u need to root ur phone and install root explorer.. (not recomended ideally to play with the system files)

The official one is throwing exception errors...:( And no response on feedback..:( poor support...!!!

which memory card you are using microsd or microsdhc.can a 16 gb microsdhc be used with this one what is the maximum size of memory card that will work fine without slowing down..?please reply me.
i am not able to use any of the features camera,file manager,videos,installing apps without memory card.how to use the inbuilt available 0.85 gb of memory without memory card ?

16.7M does matter. Manufactures say simply 16M it can be 16.2M which is dithered to 16.2M from 262K. Because cheaper LCD can basically produce 262K only. So you will not notice much difference. But in case of 16.7M not dithered or FRC technology used. By complex hardware and software algorithm is color is achieved by addressing each sub pixel. Which is often used in high end LCD and it is the true color. Example Iphone retina display.

Finally i decided to test My Spice Mi410 Bench Marks.
I used the following android application to test the spice Mi 410 performance
1.Quadrant standard edition.
Bench Mark results are amazing
The Spice Mi 410 scores 1352 points its scores above nexus one 2.2 + and all famous competitors are far below

Hello, friends after upgrading to official gingerbread how much total RAM and how much free RAM showing.
@karthik, as Ben told MI-410 is excellent phone, I purchased two, in any company some models are good and some not, if you are not satisfied with MI-310 that is different matter, but MI-410 is excellent. Mini pro screen is very small.

I can’t recommend this phone over another one, as I have not used the other one. It will be like diagnosing a patient without even seein him and knowing his lab results.
I just read it here that Pro is running on the same processor of mi 410,with same RAM. So the performance should be the same. Now left out things are your viewing experience..
If you want to read PDF medical books, I don’t think a 3 inch screen will satisfy your needs. Pro is 3 inch, but Mi 410 is 4 .1 inch..
From Camera point of view, Sony should be excellent. (Mi 410 is below average)..
Battery of mi 410 is 1400 ma, but that of pro is 1200.. so Pro cud be worse in battery drain ( afterall android eat lot of batter)..
Its upto you to decide which one u need..
