guys my question is to those who had updated to ICS...
1) Hows the overall performance of the fone afta updation to ICS n most particularly its battery backup..?
2) does updation leads to increase in internal memory n RAM of da fone or does it remains intact..?

hi buddy I also got the same problem which was because of the lemination over senser area, just remove the lemination from the sensor area ur prblm will be solved

guys did any1 updated to ICS on dis mobile...? If so den pls give a feedback hows it workn on ics..
And wat abut the display quality of this mobile..? Is it ok outdoors..?
N last abt battery backup.. Hws it..?

I'm also using this phone and it is working fine. I like this phone as I play all the games in this phone and it works really. go for it guys

I have used many variety of brand. But spice comes with many problems. I have used spice phone earlier. Then also there was a problem. But now its comes with vast problems. I bought a spice stellar mi-425 on 11.10.2012. But the phone was not working from 21.10.2012.I submitted my phone in service center on 25.10.2012. Today I am standing on 27th day from when the day the phone was dead. still my phone is in service center. As per the job sheet 21 days is the maximum limit a customer should wait. From the day I bought the phone, more than using, it was kept due to the defect. The service of spice provided to the customer is very pathetic. As per the general customer I suggested to the new customer don't switch to spice.

this is to know you all that i have a set .mi425, which was working good ,but sudenly some problem came,my cell display goes off when im calling to ohters. and some time i cant cut the call when im getting off to it.the cell sensor is gone or software problem im still not getting the solution.

This is quiet nice phone in a budget of 9-10k,the touch is very smooth,IPS panel works pretty well
gaming experince is also good as it has 1ghz processor with 200adreno GPU,the worst thing that made me disappoint is that it has only 140mb of internal memory.which allows u to install only few number of app on phone and even if you move thes apps to Micro SD card it consumes small space on phone.
so i prefer you to go for KArbon or micromax as the offering more than 1GB of internal memory and good Specs at same price

This is a real real good phone.... and the problems which u guys are facing, are the problem in any smartphone............wether its samsung or htc....

Now my Spice MI- 425 is updated into ICS 4.0.3 :), but there are some issue after ICS update'
1) Screen get blank whn ever u rcv I/C call, and screen always on whn ever u make O/G call
**You can resolve this problem but u have to calibrate your proxity sensor whn even u restart ur phone every time.
2) Google Map does'nt work after ICS update,You can only use map with enabled GPS but it take very long time to enabled it, u can't find your location with local network/ mobile network.
Im nt too Happy nt To sad after upgradation, but spice have to fix these problems, now choice is yours u wana go with ICS update or not.

good news that upgrade to ics is available. Bt it can be updatable only from spice service center.

Guys, Don't buy this phone.
This is scrap. If you spend an amount of Rs 10000, You should go for some other phone like Samsung htc etc.
Internal memory is only 150 MB, Samsung has in GBs.
I recommend, do not buy this phone.

guys me and my friend bought the phones on the same day he prefered samsung galaxy ace and bought this..... and now in todays date he regreted and bought this phone...... and now he's also the fan of it.... it is a very good fone as compare to others of this price..... go ahead dont make if's and but's just get this smartfone.....

i am using this phn from 2 mnths and this phn is giving me hanging problem... games does not goes well with this processor

I have been using this phone for the last 4 months. It is giving me great service. This dual sim phone is excellent to use. The touchscreen is very sensitive and the processor is quite fast. I have compared it to the higher priced samsung ace plus and find it is equally good if not better in all respects. Battery life is great and last for about 2 days.
Anybody having this mobile on their short list may go for it without hesitation.
