If this product has such a serious problem then don't go for it as this will be injurious to the health.
Now it is well settled that Spice android devices are not up to the the mark.These device are cheaper than any other products but they don't give you satisfaction.General public expect that Company should give good specification at the prescribed price and should not face any problems in the offered features.Spice should charge more rupees but atleast satisfy the consumer with its given features.If Spice is not improved then it will be thrown out of the Smartphone Market very soon.I am Spice user and I am not at all satisfied with Spice.I had a problem with my Spice Handset then I went to the Service Centre at Solapur.The centre officials told me that that is a bad Handset and suggested me not to go with Spice anymore as Spice Products are inferior.
So wake up Spice!!!

IN THE INTEREST OF GENERAL PUBLIC : CHEATING BY SPICE MOBILITY : OVER HEATING PROBLEM : SPICE VIRTUOSO - MI - 495
We have purchased the above handset from Spice Retail Shop - HOTSPOT on 24/02/2013 from Honey Park, Adajan, Surat.
On using the Phone on 25/02/2013, we found the problem of camera clarity and overheating. As per the handset specification 8 MP camera with 3264 *2448 pixels is given. But when we took the Photograph and compared the same with their MI - 530 Mobile, photographs are very poor . We also compared the photograph with other mobile having 8 MP. The photographs are very poor.
The major problem the Phone is having is overheating. Within 10 -15 minutes of usage of the handset, mobile is heated and sensation on the ears are so hot that person can not put the phone on ear and compulsorily have to use speaker or Bluetooth facility. We informed the retailer on 25/02/2013, they have shown their inability to help in this matter. And informed us to visit the service center in Surat.
We visited the service center on 26/02/2013 and informed the above problems to Mr. Jitesh. He thoroughly checked the camera clarity and also overheating problem. He informed us that as this has been designed slimmest, main parts of the Mobile has been designed and built near the speaker and due to the above, upper parts of mobile will be hot. And that can't be reduced/improved.
We argued that this is the mistake of the company,their research and design team. And complete failure of the company as before launching of the product, company must take trial and test the product.
Mr. Jitesh informed the problem to Mr. Jayesh Soni (Designation not known) but he refused the claim. Mr. Jitesh informed that he will try to talk with higher authorities and look in to the matter.
On 26/02/2013, Mr. Jitesh - Service center Executive informed that he has talked with the company personnel but they denied to accept that the phone is overheating but they have requested to submit the handset to make probe in to camera clarity.
As confirmed with Mr. Jitesh, Mobile gets heated within 10 -15 minutes of usage and this is a manufacturing defect and concern for health also but the company is denying to accept the same.
It is manufacturing defect but company is denying. We have asked them to issue D.O.A. as the same is not usable product but the company is denying.
On 01/03/2013, Now the company refuses the both claims of over heating and camera clarity.
Thus company is cheating to the general public by launching non tested, without taking trial ,sub-standard and poor quality product and company is causing serious damage to the health of Public. And this requires a thorough Investigation and Probe in to the matter.
This is for the Interest of General Public so that do not get attracted to lucrative price Marketing and Slim Design of the product and purchase the handset.

my fon is just 1 wek old.... my 1st android cell !! i had hesitation in chosing spice but its very easy to operate n can be compaired to any samsung fone in this range n may b to a arnge of 12000 also!! m content buyng this fon !!

please do not buy any spice phone people. specially mi 495. never ever buy this. spice is just crap. go for samsung. my brand new out of the box phone was defective. it does not vibrate on the vibrate mode. service centre people have not been able to do any thing. i am forced to write to the ceo and customer care. i plan a replacement for it. no replacement then consumer court. counsumer court for sure. please do not buy spice please.

there is no android sign,trademark or logo when calling. no 2g or 3g data settings,battery backup is not good, 3gp video recording

its 8mp camera is actually 5mp nd gprs speed iz upto 48kbps only so 3g is a waste..dnt buy it. I wuld lyk to ask why u hv fake carers in spice hotspot...dey donot respond truly..makes owl..guy dnt show faith to spice..nd better try spice pinacle

At least 2000 mAh was expected for a phone of this screen size and resolution .. :(

it look like apple mobile
user interface,

I got my mi495 before 2 days... it is awesome in use... not much heating problem(little bit) ... battary backup average (1 day) ... nice speed... great pixels... camera is average.... look is unbeatable
