I bought this mobile yesterday, to start with the pros :
- Big Screen, Decent display
- 16GB internal storage (apart from my SD card storage)
- 1 GB RAM
- 5 MP front camera with face detection
- USB OTG for using it with my USB dongle
- Anti virus software preloaded
The cons are :
- The loudspeaker is not very good, especially if you are listening to music.
- 8 MP photo gets pixelated when I zoom, I wonder why
- Told me its upgradeable to jelly bean, but even after trying the software update - it is still working on ICS. And the software update result says your phone has the latest software.
- The Power ON button is a little flimsy - you will need this everytime your phone is locked.

Amazing phone...got it 3 weeks back....plz do not compare it with Galaxy....remember its worth 13 k ...and for that price....u hvae to be too greedy to ask for more..
- amazing looks...best looks for a 5 above inch mobile
- 1 gb ram helps with the games....no lags
- flip to mute , hold at ears to answers work...but without the leather cover
- battery is a problem though...i use an iphone 3gs with very bad battery backup..i though this might help...not much though...u play games...2 to 2.5 hours at the max
- 8 mp and 5 mp ...not really....divide them by 2....but no complains for the price they provide at
- Amazing experience while surfing the net...runs smoothly..and huge screen helps..though personally feel too big to carry..but i use it as a tablet
For this price..infact in the 20 k price segment...BEST

I am planning to buy this phone. Most of all your comments have helped me. I need to know if display is better than karbonn a30 and better or at par with iball andi 4.5q. Also battery backup for a day. And does it play angry birds all versions and games

You can install custom roms available developed by various developers. Most of the phones available in the market are not rooted. You have to root it yourself. But this comes rooted. dear frnds...Both the smartphones have Dual SIM slots with Dual Standby capability which means one can use both the SIM’s simultaneously.(a 116 & mi 530)
In terms of network bands the Spice MI 530 supports triband for GSM network (GSM 900/1800/1900) and dual band for 3G network (WCDMA 900/2100). This is a good news for the people who travel to other parts of the world where the network bands change.
Unfortunately the Micromax A116 doesn’t support triband, it supports a dual band for 2G network (GSM 900/1800) and a single band for 3G network (HSDPA 2100)...so spice is best better option for those who travel outside to india..grtt spice..
