Without doubt Micromax may have marketing pull but Spice gives you good product with surprisingly good after sales service. I have been using Spice product for past 4 years and recent one is Mi530 which is an excellent phone in this category.

This is an amazing phone. It exceeded my expectations.
I bought this piece yesterday, tweaked it inside out, loaded it full with all the necessary software.
- The phone has no lags at all. Its super speedy, the dual core processor does just perfect with 1GB Ram provided.
- Usable Internal memory allows be to use it without any external memory card. Its around 12GB out of 16GB.
- Screen it good ! The levels of brightness are amazing. Also the light sensors works well and saves the battery.
- The biggest surprise, the touch. Touch is of supreme quality, didn't expect it to be so sensitive. Its utterly smooth, that you will just love to browse through your device.
- The direct call, intelligent answer & Flip to mute functions works fine, some high end features provided in this phone at this budget.
- I am a communication designer and i love to see my works/colors of different graphics we make. And trust this device, its screen is very well enough where i can enjoy my work, the colors and brightness are perfectly fine, thou it may lack a little in sharpness. But as our works are tweaked enough i couldnt make much of difference between pinnacle and my xperia neo V.
- Battery life is pretty good, i used wifi for like 5 hours since last eve after battery was fully charged,
continuously browsing through the device, and data connection on whole time. Its still 36% after 14.5 hours of use.
- And .. There are NO heating issues in this phone.
- Oh and btw.. both sim slots provides 3G support.
- And sound is fine, if you are a music freak you are always recommended to use other custom headphones for best experience.
- And thing about camera is, The sensors determines the quality of the image and not the mega pixles, so pictures from these phone are never going to beat ones from better camera sensors. So even its its 5MP or 8MP you wont see any quality among these budget phones, cause they all have thumbnail size sensors, from where you can never expect QUALITY images. Again this is coming from a professional designer/faculty who knows what he is writing :)
My conclusion.
Its one of the best thing you can get in 14k. The best thing i am enjoying is lag free browsing on big big screen. And i dont expect that this phone would ever give me lags because of the balance between processor and ram.

I am confused between Spice Mi 530 $ Micromax A116 HD.I will be buying one of them within the next week.Please any users of Spice kindly advice me regarding the built quality and any other problems with it. I own a Micromax A110 and have an idea about it but have no experience regarding Spice. I have been getting mixed reviews about Spice on the net which is increasing confusion for me.Would really appreciate your kind advice.

BUT only problem is that when I record a video it makes too much noise....if micrphone is switched off....then no auido is recorded in video clip and if microphone is on, then it makes noise. Can u provide/suggest a solution. Does this problem occurs in your phone also.

Got my pinnacle in less than 24 hours. Orderd to saholic on friday and saturday before lunch it was delivered. Liked the phone very much... awesome......excellent features....download speed excellent on wi-fi..... this phone is awesome and good track phone against all indian brands like micromax and karbonn and celkon all are veri tiny against pinnacle it have 16 gb mamory with 1gb rame and 2550 mhz big battry becoz use OTG cable for the direct use usb storages for more songs and videos pls take this one in any situtation for best hd and new technology in mobility
