Spotify announces its latest price hike for Premium subscribers

Spotify announced its latest round of price hikes for Premium users. Subscribers across South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region will be notified of the increase via email soon. The streaming service did not share the specific countries where it is raising prices.

We can confirm that Premium plans across a handful of EU markets, like Spain, Italy, Portugal, have already been raised by €1 and now start at €11.99. Current subscribers will see the change in next month's billing. Spotify’s most recent Q2 financial report showed a growing number of Premium subscribers, which now number 276 million in total, but the streaming platform did miss out on its earnings guidance by $100 million.
