Spotify now lets you mix your playlists with your own transitions
Spotify's latest feature is Mix, and, as the name implies, it lets you mix your playlists with transitions you choose. Basically, you can be your own DJ, as you can seamlessly transition between tracks, customize how they flow together, and enhance everything with volume, EQ, and effect curves.
This is currently rolling out in beta for Spotify Premium users, as part of the latest app update. To use Mix, go to any playlist and select Mix from the toolbar. The Auto option provides an instant blend to get you started, or you can customize your mix with presets like Fade or Rise, and experiment with specific settings for volume, EQ, and effects.
You can use the waveform and beat data to find the best spot in each track for your transition. Once you hit Save you can share your newly mixed playlist. You can toggle the mix on and off at any time by pressing the Mix button, and even collaborate on a Mix with friends who are also Spotify Premium subscribers.

You can now be your own DJ! It's a free feature! We also increased the price of service. No-no-no, it's not related to the whole lot of useless features nobody asked for. It's because tough economy is very hard for people with billio...

Uploading your own music is the only feature I'm interested in. I'm not asking for the 10,000 songs of Youtube Music, but at least give a 300-500 songs cloud. Yeah, not gonna happen, Spotify is as greedy as it gets.
