Sprint entices new customers with a free year of Amazon Prime for 40GB plan

Enrique, 13 May, 2016

Sprint is now offering a special offer for those customers who want to sign up for Sprint’s Better Choice XXL plan. At a $99 value, customers can get one free year of Amazon Prime which, of course, gives you access to Amazon’s legendary two-day free shipping, Amazon’s video library, and Amazon’s music subscription in addition to a bunch of other perks that Amazon Prime customers can receive.

Sprint’s Better Choice XXL plan gives subscribers 40GB of shared data for $99 plus taxes and device (access) fees. These Better Choice plans from Sprint do not change overages for going over your data allotment. Once you go over, your account will be lowered to 2G speeds until the billing cycle resets, otherwise, customers can choose to automatically add extra GBs to the account at $15 per additional gigabyte.

To get the free year of Amazon Prime, customers will receive a link via text message once activating their new XXL plan that will lead them through steps to activate their free year of Amazon Prime. Existing Sprint customers also have the option of purchasing a Prime membership from Sprint for $11 per month if they don’t wish to pay for a full year up front.
