Sprint HTC EVO One leaked a few hours before release

04 April, 2012

We just got some live photos and specs of a new HTC smartphone, headed for Sprint. The high-end device leaked just a few hours ahead of its official announcement.

Some highlights of the new Sprint-branded One, which will most likely be called the HTC EVO One, are a kickstand for keeping your device vertical in landscape mode, a 4.7 inch screen running at 720p, 8MP rear-facing and 1.3MP front-facing cameras, Android 4.0.3, Beats Audio, as well as what is most likely dedicated camera button.

We expect this device to be unveiled at the joint HTC/Sprint press event set to take place today at 5:30PM EST. We'll be on-hand to see what sort of goodies get announced, so be sure to check back with us later.

In reply to the leak, HTC have officially announced the device on FB. And what an ugly addition to an otherwise brilliant ONE series... http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.308038802597736.71726.165420456859572&type=3
