why do more than the iPhone. first let's see what complaints will come. for the future there is much space for "revolutionary" upgrades, like the iPhone does... Nokia 5800 is our salvation !!!!

all cell phones camera suck anyways you can never compare it to a regular digital camera ..look how big a digital camera is and how the hell are you suppose to squeeze that in to a little cell phone

What?! why would they do that on an open source platform? diddn't apple get enough complaints about the iphone's crippled bluetooth?!... I guess everyone has to follow suite now...

You wish show me a phone with a 10 megapixel camera. 3 megapixel is fine, more than most phones. And I can't believe how many haters there are out there. Just wait they will eat their words.

Censorship and restrictive policies will be Apple's undoing. I'll wait this out. I think the next 3-4 Android announcements will have the one I want. I'm leaning toward HTC and Samsung Androids. HTC have the slideout QWERTY/touchscreen which is more common. Samsung has the 2nd best most responsive touchscreen behind Apple, have nice designs, and have solid cameras. No G1, but wait for the future HTC or Samsung ones. SE's Xperia series would be great on this too.

Love the phone... it's all about what the phone can do. I don't want a phone that sucks but looks pretty... boo... plus it has a keyboard to help me type!!! I hate texting on the iPhone and i've had both iPhones. This phone is going to rock! 3.5G wow... 2 thumbs up!

Iphone is great but the keyboard sucks. You almost need a toothpick to type with iphone, good reason why G1 is going to overtake easily...

i dont think microsoft, nokia or apple were too worried when they saw this. microsoft may even have thought they could delay the series 7 stuff for 2 more years!
its got an old look to it and a low spec - IF you thought it was going to be an iphone/omnia/bold/n96 ;evel phone. but it clearly isnt. its a middle range phone, and on that basis its not bad. somehow apple and google get a lot of unfair hype for midrange phones with a couple of eye catching features (and i am not saying the "pinch" control on the iphone isnt a wow!) - nokia for example make a better phone today. google might make something as good in the future, but this isnt it

this phone looks good.has a full dash key board and has Google maps street view and the compass thing is too cool....its not an iphone its just touch screen everyone...apple didn't patent the touch screen interface

Why do folks care so much trying to beat the iPhone? It's just another competitor to me. Is it like hating the Yankees or the Lakers? Hate to see something popular, so we bring it down? I like iPhone, but only if it is jailbroken. Android is going to be cool. Not just PG-rated apps. I hate Apple's restrictive approval and "censorship" for apps. Porn always wins. Look at Betamax vs VHS. Plus, we can get all the VILOENT games on the Android. FREEDOM! Put Android on XPERIA, please!
