Thanks. One last thing: I watched the unboxing video and the adapter is kinda strange with two pins. I have an adapter for 3-pin ( cuz we only have 3-pin here ) but i dont think it would fit, because theyr kinda thiner and stuff. Is there any special adapter or somethin?

Dan, 25 Nov 2010Will the T-mobile G2 (T-Mobile Unlocked)work in Malta (EU) ... morethis phone uses HSDPA 1700 / 2100 for the 3G. So if your provider uses either of these frequencies you are good, otherwise will NOT be 3 g for your use.

Kree, 18 Oct 2010Rooting is over rated these days. Really, why would you wan... moreProbably the dumbest comment I've ever had the displeasure of reading. It absolutely goes without saying that any G1, rooted or otherwise, will completely be smashed on performance by the G2. Why?
....Because the G2 is a latter generation handset.
As for rooting being 'pointless'.... only people who didn't truly understand the term rooting would deem it pointless.
Just a question for you - How can obtaining root and full /system read/write access be in any way pointless? The additional options and benefits it provides far outweigh the minimal risk.
Do your homework next time.

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2010I think most of you guys who were elevating this phone to ... moreThis phone is most faster than Vibrant!! 80mhz + 205 Adreno Chip is much faster for the Vibrant shit 1ghz!!!! Nexus One have the Adreno 200!!! the two only phone have Adreno Chip is the Nexus One and the G2!!

I think most of you guys who were elevating this phone to a suits above the to phones right now are blinded by buyer's bias. Someone said they compared the g2 to a vibrant side by side and the g2 even with 200 mhz lower then the vibrant was "faster" well obviously itll be faster because the vibrant only runs 2.1 right now which is known to run at a fraction of the speed of 2.2.
You cannot really compare the performance until the vibrant gets 2.2 which should be by november or december. And I'm betting that the 200mhz diff will shine through when that happens.
All that side tho I'm not saying that any of these phones is really better then another just to try to stop spouting such bias opinions.

though i dont hav this phone but considering in getting one after my friend bought it, i was blown away how fast this phone is when i mess around w/it, im glad that its running stock 2.2, its far better than custom UI running on top, (it was good b4 2.2 came out tho)...it has nice solid feel to it, it doesnt feel cheap like SGS, as for the z hinge bein loose, just dont hold the phone upside down, i would definitely recommend G2 to anyone that hav tmo
