The phone can be tethered to be a walking modem. the same is true of the G1 you just have to figure out how to do it. I'd tell you but I work for T-MObile and its obnoxious to how many customers want you to tell them how to work their device, figure it out for yourself.

Tethering!!!! I know that it is not packaged with this ability, but isn't it about time! Especially with this phone particularly! Does T-Mobile plan on supporting this feature before the release date??! This would only increase its market sales!

What is the difference between HTC Magic and MyTouch??
Is there any major difference between this two phones?
if yes, what?
and which one is better for sure?

i work for the big magenta and we were told it is preliminary but Tmo is taking the G-series in 2 directions....which means we'll have super customization with mytouch in one branch and then there WILL be a G2 down the road branching of the G1. We had a mytouch training meeting today and thats just what my sup said, so take it or leave it :)

This phone is not the G2. This is the mytouch and the G2 is not suppose to hit state side until early of next year.

The phone shouldnt be less than a G1 it should be more. Im guessing somewhere around 200 to 300. The G1 was origionally 350 when it first launched. and yes you can type horizontally.

aiein, 29 Jun 2009i already asked my friend (tmobile account rep) about the p... morethis is as everyone noes the G2. it seems like a good phone.... i am a t mobile customer this phone can be purchased with a 2 yr contract for $199.9, and a 1 year contract for $299.99 .. it can be pre-reserved and yu will receive one by august 3rd.. i did not pre-reserve one because i do not have money... TAKING FREE DONATION!!!

this phone is not all it looks like, i was so surprised that it has this high of ratings. this phone is almost the same as a g1. the only differences are ram and no slide keyboard. trust me you will want a slide keyboard because this on-screen keyboard is not very well developed. unless your looking to use it as "rooted" then you can find better keyboards. as of now there is no root for this phone yet. g1's are where you can do almost anything, this device is limited, as of now. htc hero would be the best option for anyone. hero has the best UI better than the iphone.

i am sorry but this is the htc magic t mobile were gutted that they lost out so have asked htc to put a dif cover on there, t-mobile need to grow up and go after a dif handset like the htc hero even tho it has the looks only a mother could love.
