This phone does NOT support 900 band UMTS! I found this out the hard way; I am sitting with Edge speeds in my country.

all 7 of my friend use android phone(htc,samsung,lg)....pls dont complaint bout battery life,coz its normal for low battery life in android phone....

For anyone complaining about battery life, i have my screen at 50% brightness at all times, facebook syncs, weather widget syncs, texts and web browsing throughout the day, and by 10PM(after taking it off the charger at 8AM) I only get down to 60% battery life... Sometimes only 70%! It depends on my web use. The battery life does not suck on this phone, you are sucking the life out of the phone with constant chain texting, excessive web browsing and video watching, plus having everything sync every 15 min.

Battery life sucks hard if you are using stock rom.
But on custom rom roms battery life is much better.
Question: is there a user of this phone out there that's able to use the 4gb rom they advertized? i've red htc said its for gingerbread usage but i dont see any light that this phone will ever have a official ginger update let alone the 4gb internal. I only think of it al false advertisment. can anybody prove me wrong here?

They'll email you unlock code for your phone. Once you get the code, you put a non-T-Mobile SIM card in and input the code.

i hated the battery life of this phone till i downloaded the (juise defender)ultimate version now id dont have to charge it 2 time a day but every other day.very happy with the phone now.

I've this cell phone for couple of months. It works very good with its stock rom Android 2.2. But u can flash CM7 rom which is based on gingerbread rom Android 2.3.3. It works very good with gingerbread. By the way u can overclock it and make the processor 1.5GHZ. It's the best phone I have ever owned.

The phone is nice running gingerbread. I saw one on ebay for sell that is running gingerbread. I am 90% sure T-Mobile will not update it to Android 2.3 on its own.

I've had this little monster for 2 months now. It's the neatest gadget I have ever owned. It does everything really well. It's fast, sexy, and practical. I run my tech business on it. The only thing it does not do is make coffee, I'm sure they will make an app for that soon. Love this phone.

As this is a 4G phone, the battery will last for less time. You can overcome this when you dont need high speeds on internet by just turning off the 4G. To do this, Go to Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Mobile Networks -> Network Mode -> Select "GSM only"
With this option, the internet will also work, but just that the speed will be low.
