After my 'experience' there, I would suggest to go to a T-Mobile office for a better service. And the price provided on the walmart site, I found is only for new two year activation plan.

199.99 @ T-Mobile PLUS they are BOGO(Buy one, Get one FREE!!) Why go to Wal-Mart for the same price and get poor quality service vs. Go to your local T-Mobile and get the the best customer experience! :)

dingo, 16 Nov 2010i go to tmobile store and i talk to old lady. she said if u... moreactually to use this phone you need internet because that's the only way to sign on and have your phone active. its not like other phones where you don't need internet and can just use wifi. android is totally different. iphone/blackberry you don't need internet to be activated.

Ravindra, 27 Nov 2010Any brother ,please help how check system update in my touc... moreIf you are in T-mobile so the phone automatic update for you,you can check in your phone(hit settings after that hit about phone option and hit software information and u can see your android version).If u see android version 2.2.1 so your phone already update from T-mobile.Remember one thing,no one can get the android 2.3 gingerbread update right now because they just announced.

Any brother ,please help how check system update in my touch 4 g ,very frustrating still I haven't got any update ,using it on older software no.while T-mobile OTA update within 24 hours its launch ,many times wrote ,please anyone help .

i got this phone for 1 month already.The phone look great,operate system very fast,nice design,super fast on web browser,HTC sense work great with sunny,rain,cloudy,storm,snow and special option with Genius button,very easy to use like another android phone.i love this phone.You need take time and learn how to use it

Hello everyone!
I got my new T-mobile My Touch 4G couple days ago and now I can share my experience from the phone.
The first word that comes to my mind is HEADACHE. Compared to my previous phone My Touch 3G I’m very disappointed from the operation software of the new 4G.
First it is just HARD TO USE, writing a simple SMS or calling someone can take several minutes and can drive you insane.
Second the way everything looks is just so outdated, every icon is paced in a grayish square which makes your screen looks cluttered.
Another thing that makes no sense to me is the weather widget. It only shows you the current temperature and average temperature for the next couple days. So if you want to see what will be the temperature in the afternoon or if it is going to rain you CAN’T, because it only shows the current temperature. There are other small things that I don’t like as well, but I will not focus on them.
Overall the phone has great design, top of the line hardware, awesome display and all of this ruined by a sloppy software.

Please anyone tell me ,I'm not getting OTA update and also unable to check system update ,while accessing my company directory ,getting error Oops ,there was network problem also I'm unable to delete t-mobile account ,myself using in India this phone since weak ,any gentleman please please help ,thanks in advance .

Hi,
I stopped by T-Mobile office the other day, and played with the phone for a while. The speed of the device is incredible, much faster than any other phone I ever played with. Both maps and navigation loading times are super fast. The touchscreen is very sensitive and quite accurate. I did not experience any hanging time. Tryed the camera as well, and the pics looked pretty sharp. Really happy with the video calling feature. The design is also great, feels nice in the hand. I was betwwen the G2 and the MyTouch, but after playing with both I will definately go with the MyTouch based on the speed, and the front video camera.
The least expensive place to get the phone is Walmart, it cost $50, compared to T-Mobile's $200.

Does it works as Modem/Wifi? means i heard there is function in some phones that Releases Wifi..Like Routers? is this phone has that feature?

HEY, 13 Nov 2010battery life not that bad it depends on u how much phone di... morethe phone is great... the internet speed is awesome.. better than my desktop.. the touchscreen is really good and the battery life all i can say its like all the smart phones.. it depends how you use it.. im happy with it.. i like the google sky and the layar apps.

soviet, 18 Nov 2010pay full price and no need for planno man i have tmobile service now its over 2 years so now i can get discount. she said $250 with tax 268 and it required internet u have buy it. its cost me $300. i dont wana pay $30 every month. now im going again if i see guy i talk to him.
