I have checked the version has upgraded software . The phone contains a help guide for setting up the apn. Now in the settings menu there is an option to set up the apn using which we can set any apn manually. Now the default browser is opera mini and works fine. I have configured idea network and its perfectly working.

Hi...does anyone know if Airtyme PV300 G Flaunt will work in South Africa? Like all the internet features without being on the t-mobile network but on the Vodacom-SA network?

Hi, I know almost everyone is having trouble using Internet on this phone outside US. Is there anyway i can manually alter the settings or crack it via application or software, please help.

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2011charge it from laptop using a usb cable..its simpleso do u have to charge it on ur computer i just got the sidekick lx so i was wondering if u had to charge it on the computer

Hi, I bought this unlocked T-Mobile Sidek!ck LX 2009 fone from US and I’m using it in India.
Here is my review after using it for 3 Months
-> The Internet doesn't work with any 3G SIM or Plan in India
-> The fone doesn’t have a memory that permanently stores data. Most of the time when it reboots, the fone book, SMS stored is deleted (not from SIM or SD card)
(It is designed to upload all data to T-Mobile server and retrieve it from the server every time the device is re-started)
-> Can use it only for calls and SMS.
-> Good Battery standby
-> Decent Speakers for Media player
-> Good 3MP Camera
-> Great Keyboard for messaging
-> Tried with a 4 MB SD card, it takes few seconds to read
-> No WiFi
-> Can use it as a external drive
-> The manufacturer has stopped support for this model
-> Does not have a calculator
In spite of my fone rebooting very often deleting all my data/resetting most of the setting, Its only the look and the kick that makes this mobile the best of the rest. Every time you kick open, you'll know its worth giving away most of the fone's features.
If you wanna make heads turn every time you pull-out your mobile, THIS IS IT.

i am a Zambian. i bought sidekick t mobile recently here in Zambia but i can't access internet browsing or any form of internet. please, advise me. what can i do to use this phone fully because i can't even see internet settings to activate it manually.

And is it "safe" to buy a "unlocked" phone because things may just not work... THANKs for for your help.
