knight, 07 Dec 2009if there is a unlock feature to this phone, how is it possi... morethe phone is locked and can only be used with T-mobile sims,but if you unlock it,you will be able to use other simcards on it,it does'nt affect the functions. . . also try sidekcik D-WADE edition. . .

You would be able to use ur sim card (Singapore or any other country's) as long as you get ur phone unlocked. I have unlocked a couple of sidekicks and Im using them with Malaysia's sim. :0) Hope it helps.

My Husband in the state lives in MARYLAND Bought me this phone from there and send it to me in africa,He told me that It going to work here as soon as i get the phone,All i have to do is to turn it on then start using it,But it unfortunatly that there phone is not work,I wanted to be sure whether this phone can be unlock and use in africa here please ???

Im a customer care rep for Tmobile. Ive browsed thru gsmarena.com and read the comments. FYI Sidekick LX 2009 has facebook, twittter, etc. Exclusively for TMobile only.(since that's what we tell our customers and is part of the policies and guidelines.) If in case the phone can be unlocked by pressing something in the handset, still, some specs and features wont work. This will work / fully function with a tmobile simcard.

for those saying that this phone can be Unlocked, Partly it might be true. But if the sidekick phone can truly be unlockd, the specs and features cannot be enjoyed 100%.. You can call their customer care and ask them abt it.

I browsed that phone in multiple sites - the best one seems to be eBay.com I saw a comment that this phone can NEVER be unlocked as it is a T-Mobile one - Okay, in eBay you can find brand new, never opened, UNLOCKED phones - is that true? Are there unlocked versions of this phone? Im in Bulgaria (Europe) and want to order that phone, do you think it will work???
