So for so good with the 20R 5G.
I can't fault the 720p LCD IPS 6.5" screen, the MTK SoC has around the same speed and stability of the SD765G SoC in the Pixel 4a/4a5g/5 from last year just down on DDR4 RAM however that is not an issue for me as I am not using 20R 5G as a high level multi tasking device.
The amazing thing is battery life, even under heavy usage I have seen 12 hour SoT and standby time (when the decide is basically in idle mode with WiFi and Network on but GPS and BT off) around 8 days before if it needs to be recharged. Of I were to use this as a daily device I would think battery life for my levels of useage would be around 48 hours between recharges based on around 9 hours SoT.
Give props to TCL for including a screen protector and clear case in the packing.
Since I have this device TCL have provided 2 security patches it's.cirrwntlu in February 2022 security patch and uses Android 11 (which is fine much better then the crap.thay Android 12 is).
Price? I got this in a discount price for $275 AUD unlocked (normal price is $345 AUD) so that price I can't fit this device at all in any way. It simply does what the use needs it to do with out putting a foot wrong.

Rubbish updates still on September security update from last year, have had to send for repair 3 times with automatically connecting to data despite me having it set off issue still not fixed. No Android 12 still on 11 first time I tried TCL never again!

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2021Screen resoltion is very lowResolution is fine. With that SoC (dimensity 700) and the battery IT will stand many hours gaming and YouTube and Netflix, PrimeVideo etc...

I've had to send mine for repair it keeps connecting to data after every reboot of the handset despite me having it turned off.
