Snapdragon, 20 Mar 2024TCL doesn't update software. I still don't have a... moreTCL never update stuff they are a disgrace, I used to have a TCL 20R 5G and the thing never got a update out the box, I still have it to this day in the drawer no update.

TCL doesn't update software. I still don't have a latest security patch on my TCL 30 2022 Phone. Still running android 12. They have refused to upgrade it to Android 13. Google wants manufacturers to give at least 2 years upgrade with new Android OS. I've messaged them not sure what they will do. Because of that I'm not buying any TCL phone again.

I enjoy a IPS LCD phone much more than OLED as I find there's less eye strain. It just seems that every high spec phone comes with an OLED display these days!

They really need some more upgrades like higher resolution, better soc (e.g Dimensity 7200 or Snapdragon 7 Gen 1) and 8gb of ram with a old chipset? I doubt it.
