Looks like the new 2024 tablets won't include 3:2 screens and the 12 Pro is impossible to find. I'm assuming it never launched.

Tcl is screwing us, they will never launch it.

                      in global tcl website :
                      Chipset: Octa-core MT8771 (4 x A53 2.0GHz, 4 x A53 1.5GHz)
                      GPU: 650MHz (GE8320)

                      which one is true?

This shoulda have been a 200-dollar tablet or less.

YUKI93, 08 Jan 2023As far as I remember, the Helio family doesn't have 5G... morethe g57 mc2 are used in 5 following chipsets:
                          helio g96, g99, then dimensity 700 and 810. and theres the mt8771.
                          cant believe mediatek did this.

What is the color gamut of this tablet i.e. it's DCI-P3 or sRGB percentage rating?

you have to suffer, 08 Jan 2023its probably helio g99 rehashed for tablet socsAs far as I remember, the Helio family doesn't have 5G connectivity. Only the Dimensity family has it. But a rehashed G99 isn't far off since it has the same GPU.

YUKI93, 07 Jan 2023I'm definitely curious about the SoC. While there are ... moreits probably helio g99 rehashed for tablet socs

you have to suffer, 07 Jan 2023nonono, ipad 9 much better👍👍👍👍👍I second this. There's no point in giving USB-C port if the Apple Pencil still use a Lightning port, and you have to pay $9 for the Pencil charging adapter. 🤦

Khan, 07 Jan 2023Have the TCL managers gone mad???? 500 Euro for this crap?... morethe key is it has paperlike display. but still quite pricey

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2023No way this thing is gonna cost 500 eur...XDA-Developers*: As far as pricing goes, it will cost $499 for the standard version and $549 for the 5G variant.

I'm definitely curious about the SoC. While there are numerous Dimensity SoCs with Cortex-A78 CPUs, not one has a Mali-G57 GPU. Even the lowest A78-powered Dimensity 900 has Mali-G68 GPU. I wonder which type of SoC this one is.
