The efficient low range chipset makes the phone run for more days when its in max ink mode than if it were a top range chipset.

starzainia, 10 Sep 2025please tell me where you get Dimensity 7400's for 150 USD :(Amazon
Realmw Narzo 80 Pro 5G and Realmw P4 Pro are going for 160 bucks right now. Discounts bring it down to 130-140. Most expensive variant going for 210 bucks and they're all AMOLED
I own the Poco X6 Pro with Dimensity 8300 and it cost me $199 USD couple months back.

Why does this have half the battery life of the Nxtpaper 60 SE? This has 60 hours of battery life and the 60 SE has 120 hours of battery life in Ink paper mode?

S I R E, 09 Sep 2025This comes with a generic 1080p LCD with a simple matte fin... moreThis is anything, but "generic" LCD with a simple matte screen protector. The NXTPAPER technology is a completely different approach towards mobile displays. Yes, it uses a high quality IPS Display as a base, but it has several more layers for circular polarisation to mimic natural light, reducing blue filtering and mimic paper-like surface texture, while moving really close to e-ink in terms of lowering eye strain, especially for reading text and eliminating glare and PWN dimming effects. The R&D put in this technology over the past few years is way off the 2bucks temu screen protectors and as someone, who is more and more feeling the negative effects of modern OLED screens on my eyes after more than 25 years squinting at computer and phone screens I am curious to see this in person, once it arrives in here.

Can't believe they didn't put in a headphone jack. The TCL 50 Pro Nxtpaper has a headphone jack and I can pick one up for less than half the price of this phone. Also this phone is much heavier than that one. I don't like any phone that's over 200g, but that's my own personal choice to keep it under that weight.

S I R E, 09 Sep 2025This comes with a generic 1080p LCD with a simple matte fin... moreThe TCL NXTpaper is significantly more advanced than a standard matte screen protector.
While both reduce glare and reflections, the NXTpaper display incorporates a unique, integrated matte coating that offers benefits like reduced reflections, less eye strain and a natural, paper-like texture for a more comfortable viewing experience, which a typical matte screen protector cannot fully replicate.
NXTpaper displays are also designed to minimize reflections and distortion , have dc dimming and providing a more clearer and consistent viewing experience than a standard matte screen protector.

Malmaa, 09 Sep 2025Thanks I guess.
I used the Lenovo Phab2 Pro for a coup... moreThis comes with a generic 1080p LCD with a simple matte finish on the display. You can get the same feeling with a 2 dollar matte screen guard. Dimensity 7400 is available in phones starting at 150 USD where I'm at, this thing has nothing special about it besides the size and even that is somewhat pointless due to the narrow aspect ratio (you already aaid you're not a fan of such ratios) so no, it is not worth $400 but it's your money, spend it to your hearts content.
For the price, 7+ Gen 3 and a 1440p AMOLED is perfectly reasonable. It would also help with your earlier grief that such devices do not survive the market, of course they don't. All that screen with barely any performance to enjoy it.
I love big phones too but I wouldn't buy this thing for anything other than a secondary device.
Something better would be a flat screen reincarnation of the VIVO X NOTE with 18:9 aspect ratio.

I used the Lenovo Phab2 Pro for a couple of years which was larger than this device and heavily spaced for it time back in the day. Lenovo offered a large phablet in three trims and for 2 models back then.before they came up with elongated devices designed for media consumption more than anything else.
People do read on these mobile devices you know!
TLDR LOL. 400 dollars is dirt cheap for an eye-friendly device.

This has no bells and whistles except the big screen so the Ulefones become a decent buy in comparison maybe, for those wanting night vision heat vision and invincibility.

AltFantasy, 09 Sep 20251TB and 10000mAh battery for 50 USD??? are you joking? do y... moreShe/he's being sarcastic.
Try to read and learn about ODMs, they develop generic devices design and everything and any company can buy the plans for it and slap on their brand name on it. Many brands use them without putting in any of their own R&D.
TLDR version is, not everything cost as much as you think it does and the person being sarcastic about it wants to portray their fondness toward a niché product like this one even though it is a combination of low spec components.
It isn't worth $400.

An eye friendly LCD with a good processor , OIS camera and a telephoto lens .
I'm sold .
I hope it's released in my country soon (UK) before I go blind or mad using my Amoled (the headaches and dizziness can't be good).

Written from old small screen with low battery life device, I might add.
I can't belive why no one made a lage screen phone that would I regularly use to check my emails while kayaking that has 1TB, 10,000 mAh and cost 50 dollars!!
If you are not the target audience stop whining. There are millions of people waiting for large screen 'easy on the eye' devices like this that comes out once every five years and companies cancel them because of your comments when you aren't the target of audience to begin with.

I see they now added dimensions. 3.20 inches wide is too thin for 7.2 inches phone. €400+ is a joke for a TCL phone. I'll rather buy those ulefone armor rugged phones with 6.95 inch screen they are 3.40 inch wide and worth the price with bigger batteries . You aren't getting updates on OS with TCL

Anybody knows how correct is data it has barometer? They say NxtPaper series has barometer but looking at price tag - I'm a bit doubtful. If it has, then on the paper it's something I definitely would look at. (for those who wondering - using any sport app without barometer is pretty useless because it makes difference if you run, walk, hike, bike on a flat surface or uphill).
