Open the phoenix app, at the bottom of the home page, click on 'Me'
Select settings
On the list , select notifications,
Turn off "Push notifications" by sliding the switch on the screen.
Do the same with the "News bar".
You are good to go!
If you also don't want to see the status saver tool too, you turn of the "Tools notification bar".
