According to DXOMark, only the Pixel 9a outperforms the Camon 40 Pro 5G, but the Pixel 9a is significantly more expensive.
This phone causes me headaches during low-light use. Notebook Check mentions it has a PWM rate of only 60Hz, which is extremely low and can lead to eyestrain and headaches in such conditions.
I bought this phone for its excellent cameras, durability, performance, and battery life, all of which are impressive. However, the display can be problematic in low-light situations.

I found this device in stores for 250$ but I'm still torn between it and the Galaxy A36 (priced 290$ for the same memory/storage configuration) I only care about software/ui and good camera quality (no gaming). I tried HyperOS from Xiaomi once and I didn't like it at all! so I am afraid HiOS is pretty similar to it.

》》 Stay Alert 《《 Purchased a Camon 40 Pro after looking at the specs on here, and I am really upset and pissed that my "Pro" matches with the specs of a "Camon 40". These specs came with my "PRO" 》》Refresh rate 120Hz, Chipset Helio, No 5G, and for the Model it says CM6. Still figuring out more.

Been using the phone for 10 days, can say that the phone's photo results and battery life is really good.
My note is mainly about the UI, because I had difficulty to log my work Microsoft account into the phone, and now I found that widgets on home screen cannot be resized.
Sad that they were just starting to cook their software better but still need tons of improvement. Hopefully it can get better within short time.

I am using this phone since a month and loved it, battery timing is great and back camera for pictures is great too it even gives competition to iphone 14 pro max in some conditions, the only thing I don't like in this phone is it's plastic build , if it had metal frame and glass back it definitely worth the price in my opinion

I have audio issues on this phone, like when I am on call, I usually lower the call volume, then the media volume also follows, the same with the mic when i play games, my mic volume gets to low that I cannot be heard anymore.

this tecno camon pro is now sold for around 215 to as
high as 242 euros while the xiaomi redminote 13 pro+
12 / 512 is sold for around 228 euros now so which is
more worth it so any one here care to give an opinion
?
so does the single ip68 rating on the xiaomi redmi note
13pro+ is really reliable enough or is the double ratings
on the tecno camon 40 pro is much more reliable dude

Avoid TECNO CAMON 40 PRO and their poor warranty service!*
I'm extremely disappointed with my TECNO CAMON 40 PRO purchase. After just ONE DAY of use, the power button stopped working due to damage. I was shocked when I contacted the company, and they refused to honor the warranty, demanding I pay for repairs.
Their warranty card is essentially worthless. Unbelievable customer service and a clear lack of commitment to their products' quality.
Considering I paid 61k, which is way above its reasonable price range of 40k-45k, I'm even more let down. There are better options available in the market, even from TECNO itself. Don't waste your money on this phone!
*Buyer beware!* TECNO's promises are empty, and their after-sales service is non-existent.
