Tecno Phantom V Fold2 lands in the Google Play Console revealing some specs
Tecno launched the Phantom V Fold back in February of last year, and it now finally seems like its successor is on its way. The Phantom V Fold2 was spotted in Geekbench in January, and now it's surfaced in the Google Play Console.
The listing reveals the name to be Phantom V Fold2, and not Phantom V2 Fold as we thought a few months ago when we covered the aforementioned Geekbench run. The upcoming device will be powered by a MediaTek chipset, which could be a variant of the Dimensity 9000+, the same SoC that powered its predecessor.
This will be paired with 12GB of RAM (again, just like in the original Phantom V Fold). The inner screen's resolution will be identical too: 2000x2296.
If you're wondering what the upgrades will be, the battery capacity will be one of them: 5,610 mAh according to a TUV certification, up from 5,000 mAh in the original. The Phantom V Fold2 has also been certified for sale in Europe, so it will be offered at least in some parts of that continent.

Is the Phantom X2 Pro successor abandoned? Still no leak and/or rumor about it, maybe not expected for release until 2025.
