Tecno Pop 7 Pro quietly launched

Tecno brought a new phone to its African markets called Pop 7 Pro. Retailers in Nigeria and Uganda already have the phone up for sale, even though the company has seemingly forgotten to officially announce it or even add it to its own website.

The Pop 7 Pro is a super affordable phone with a Helio A22 chipset. It is actually already available as Spark Go 2023 in other markets.

The Pop 7 Pro sports a 6.6” LCD with 720p resolution and a tall 20:9 ratio. It boots Android 12 with HiOS 12 on top, while the large island on the back hosts a 13MP main camera and a QVGA depth sensor. The selfie shooter has a 5MP sensor.

This phone comes with a 5,000 mAh battery and 10W charging through a USB-C port. Tecno offers the Pop 7 Pro with 64GB storage and either 3GB or 4GB RAM. Prices in Nigeria begin from NRN 64,000, which is about $140.
