Tecno has come a long way. There has been a lot of progress and improvement in the development of the devices. They can compete favourably with the so-called American phones. But they are not promoted by the Americans cos they don't use them. I prefer my Pouvoir 4pro to any iPhone device because of the performance and price.

Not everyone needs a games machine , some just want a nice phone with new / newish software that can do general purpose stuff.
Moro use this same chip in their e6 series but only use 2gb ram, this looks like a better deal with more ram.
If you don’t like the phone then move on, there are people that appreciate devices like this.
As long as the user experience is smooth and consistent I’m fine with it
