It's literally a downgrade apart from 7000mah battery and g99 ultimate chipset

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2024Can i also ask a question? How long does it last from 10... moreI do not main this phone so, haven't tested it yet and probably not gonna do it to preserve battery health. but it drains 4 to 5% for 24 hours standby and 8 to 9% an hour ln basic use. So 100% will probably last 3 days with 3 hours screen time a day, without gaming.

                                      Review after 5 days use

-starting with the main selling point: Battery. Though, about 40% bigger than my current using phones, it doesn't last as expected. light usage, 1% lasts for around 8 minutes, and one hour of use drains about 8-9%. My previous redmi note 10 pro and K60e performed similarly, having 5000/5500 mah. Good but not impressive as advertised.
-Body. Weird, the phone weights quite a lot, but doesn't feel heavy on hand, and also feel pretty solid and nice. But both front and back are super fingerprint magnets.
-Display. Some reviews i saw saying that the display is very dim but, upon actual usage, it is nearly on par with my RM note 10 pro 5g(Lcd). It is just the viewing angles are not quite good and the auto brightness setting somehow does not set the necessary brightness level. Under direct sun, not very visible but still usable. just manually use it with 50% indoor and 100% outdoor and u'll be fine.
-Performance. I don't play games, but the device is fast and snappy normal use, but faced minor stutters and jittery animations often. Not a big deal for me.
-Camera: Only got one main camera, but its solid for the price. Daytime photos are overall okay but weaker in detail level compared to my K60e, but when lowlight, its Nightmode is even better. The processing time is like 4s but nightmode photos come out brighter, exposed and detailed. Selfie photos are soft and not good in detail.
-Speakers are louder than both of my Redmi, feels like 20 to 30% louder than my JBL tuned note 10 pro. But it doesn't sound as rich and weaker bass than my Redmi(s).
-Haptics are strong but feels kinda aggressive, good but doesn't feel great.

Things i dislike: No ir blaster-no remote control, software is pretty barebone and not much customizable as my redmi (like: very few editing features in gallery, very few widgets (missing lock screen widget is disappointing), also control center navigation is uncomfortable for me, no video toolbox, cannot customize display color schemes, NFC access cards is there but not working which is very frustrating (my K60E's nfc function serves me well with the elevator and apartment access), and some minor things.
Overall, both my redmi have better software experience. This device is just okay for the price ($160), nothing exceptional. leave me a cmt if you have something to know about it.

This One Is Even Better...With A 7000mAh Battery...
