Additions and improvements that makes this phone better personally would be to:
- have an upgraded chipset (atleast a 7020 or better, 8200, 8020)
- include an ultrawide and/or a macro (give an actual purpose to 2 pointless lenses) (honestly an led flash ring on the aux lens is good enough)
- a matte finish on either the frame or the back? (frame could be better since it smudges like hell) (on the back would prob ruin the design)
- better software support
- more options for the dynamic lights (like more notifications)
- expand the reach of the dynamic lights (210 led lights are too much on a tiny area on the phone)
- adjust the stuff at the back of the phone to have more flexibility with a phone case (phone cases look ugly with it, except the ones that dont fully cover the camera island)

    I wanna tell you something that if you want a phone with great software ... Wonderful display super amoled, and an organised phone with the best system ever .and Samsung account ,wallpaper full ... Notification smooth system no one is like Samsung honestly....
    But this phone isn't good for gaming

    Meanwhile pova 6 pro comes with a great camera ,70w fast charge (A15 only 25w) better processor more ram 12 even tho I didn't feet the huge speed difference betwen them... Samsung is great with those 60hz tbh


    In conclusion Samsung is better with daily usage and normal person with a phone... Pova better with gaming that's it

        Alhamdulillah finally I got it, I was searching for a phone that has finger print under display, 256GB and batter higher than 5000mah . After enough search I came accross this phone. I asked for TRCNO POVA 6 PRO there is no where to be found in Nigerian and even cameroun, I decided to buy TECNO POVA 6 since their main difference is the SD card slot which the POVA 6 doesn't have. After I got it in Lagos and delivered to me, while happily checking the features of the Phone I found that the POVA 6 has SD card slot not as written on web it doesn't have. in fact, all the features of POVA 6 PRO that I was looking for it, there is in POVA 6. it means if you want to buy POVA 6PRO just find the original POVA 6 you will be OK. Beware there is many versions of POVA 6 also.

          I have actually sent mine IR to carlcare for servicing. Yes it was being repaired and done, happily brought back but another problem surfaced soon, this round the fingerprint sensor is no longer working. I don't know what went wrong with my Pova 6 Pro 5G. I have taken care of my device very meticulously without any harsh handling or dropping whatsoever.

          It is not so simple walk-in to the calcare for another servicing because i need to travel from another country.

          My guess was i could have possibly got the used phone(2nd-hand) Pova 6 Pro 5G when i first purchased it at a retail shop but paid for a brand new price. The IR should have been faulty then. I didn't want to give any negative comments to the shop. Either the shop already knew that the IR was not working or they didn't check the device properly before buying from the previous user and resold it to me.

          Having said that, how do i know it was a used phone. i didn't know after i realised many problems continued to surface on my Pova 6 Pro 5G.

          Let me tell you at the retail shop, i recalled the box plastic wrapper was already cut open before, there was no seal sticker sealed on the box and when the retailer booted up the device Infront of me, the OS went directly to the main screen(this should not be the way a brand new set should have behaved. When power up a new device will run through its initial stages asking for your preference language and the country and so on to get through the whole booting process before you could actually reach the main screen...am i right).

          Besides i also have noticed many fingerprint marks on the screen surface before i could have actually touched on the screen.

          With all these trails and clues, i can conclude that this is a resold set i got it.

          I also have a feeling that possibly this set might be a factory defect, meaning the PCB board could have been faulty during the production process, even QC couldn't be 100% reliable or only done random checked.

          Hence in the end, i took a very painful decision, i have to terminate this device for good. I wrapped my Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G properly with a newspaper and placed it nicely on an opaque plastic bag and dumped it right into the trash.

          That's all, the end of my first Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G. As i couldn't donate it to anyone or any charities, people will feel very sad when they will have received a faulty phone, and i couldn't even resell it to the phone shop since it has already been defective and getting deteriorating, and worst of all if the shop didn't inspect the phone properly and accept the buy in, with the next user buying it, the buyer will get very upset knowing later the phone is not functioning very well just like me.

          And you might think that this is the end of my Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G. But let me tell you, this is not done yet and this is not the end of the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G for me. Let me finish the story and be patience and if only you are interested to read on what happened next.

          Learned from the bad past experiences, i travelled again to the country have sold this device, i went to one of the retail shops at a mall, this shop is selling the brand new Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G, i took some minutes to look at the box very prudently everywhere this round, like the plastic wrapper is fully warpped and the seal is completely sealed without broken or missing.

          After a short while i couldn't resist further to ask the retainer to show me the physical box because i have the intention to buy it again.

          They are kind enough to show me the whole box without opening it of course. I did a thorough check on the box and confirmed that everything looks brand new from the box and it is perfectly sealed. Then only i paid for it and they cut the plastic wrapper nicely from the sides and broken the seal for me to power up the device. After hard pressed the power button the device booted up into i have mentioned earlier before to prompt me to enter the preference language and country and continued so on until i reached the main screen and i'm happily to go.

          Up till now, this brand new Tecno Povo 6 Pro 5G i bought for the 2nd time NEVER EVER gives me a single problem or issue, it works perfectly well and charming, superb!

          In fact i can comfortably not have to travel overseas just to get the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G. I could simply get the iphone, Samsung, Xiaomi and Vivo...etc in my country but regrettable to say they are NEVER NEVER my love, as they do not have the features i want in a single phone, yes all-in-one phone i mean. Only Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G has all the things i want in a complete single phone.

          And you can imagine how i love Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G so much, simply because i cannot resist it at all. I'm willingly travelling overseas to get it no matter how.

          It doesn't really bother me too much about the CPU is not the newer version or so. The chipset 6080 can perform extremely well and certainly up to par, i have no complaint about it and all my applications, videos, and music are running lightning fast, seamlessly and smoothly without any hindrances.

          Finally i strongly advise all new buyers who wish to buy this device please do check the seal is not broken or being removed if your intention is to get a brand new one. If you are buying a resale one do check properly as well. This is my advice to you if you couldn't get the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G from your origin country, once breakdown you have to travel far for repair.

              Surprisingly good phone so far, I have been using it for almost a month.
              Pros:
              - Has a bunch of features like headphone jack, SD card, infra port, fm radio that other manufacturers no longer include in models in this class of phones. (While also providing 60fps video recording. This, along with all the features I listed were a must-have, and ultimately this was the tipping point on why I chose this phone)
              - Big battery, I only need to charge it every second day for my uses, also charges really fast
              - HiOS 14 seems to be a good OS so far, it has a few noteworthy hidden features like "Smart Hub" which is like an intuitive clipboard for images, text and other media. There is a built-in screen recorder and the OS has no ads, unlike similarly priced Xiaomi devices. Not much bloatware either.
              - The SIM tray is capable to hold two SIM cards as well as an SD card, no compromises here. SD card clicks into place nicely in the tray and stays put while I add the SIM cards. All cards are recognized instantly by the system upon restarting the phone.
              - Decent image quality with main Camera sensor while in "AI Cam" mode and lots of options in camera settings
              - Good to watch movies / netflix / youtube etc... has good speakers and display.
              - Comes with a 70w power brick and a basic case
              - The dynamic backlight looks pretty cool

              Cons:
              - No RAW image format support for taking photos, some camera functions are paired with others, such as video color filters being unusable in 60fps mode (not a big deal for me, but a little annoying)
              - Processor/GPU is not capable to run demanding games on high settings (medium/lower settings are fine)
              - Also comes with included earphones, but the audio is terrible in those, they should have just skipped that in the package or upped the price a little for decent earpieces
              - The body of the phone is a fingerprint magnet

              All in all, if you want a phone with an SD card slot and a headphone jack I can recommend buying this. The CPU/GPU chipset may be a little dated as some people probably said before me, but I think the price is justified if we look at this as a whole package with all features Tecno included in this. My future wishes for Tecno is to keep pushing for better camera and processing power in later models, while keeping the features I listed up top.
