Look at the Specs of the Soc, this is often Architekktur with a NM smaller building.
For example, rge Snapdragon 680 and 685 ist the Same with a bit more single and multicore.

in the Pova 6 Neo however has 7000mah battery and coupled with the Efficient G99, gives the Neo a better battery life.

Been using the Pova 6 Pro for over a month now.
Pretty decent phone for its price despite its shortcomings in terms of its SoC being marginally inferior compared to other phones in its price range, it is still capable of handling mid-range to heavy games pretty smoothly, to add to that, it's large battery capacity and 70w fast charging really shortens the amount of down time in between gaming sessions, in fact, not gaming somehow makes these two features seem like a worse feature to pick over a better camera or a slightly better SoC, because the 6000mah battery would more than comfortably last for a day if not primarily used for gaming, and the 70w charging would seem like overkill because a 20%-80% charge is like 30-40 mins long and in my opinion a 45w or even 30w would more than suffice.
Nevertheless, talking about the camera, honestly very lackluster, like its package is identical to that of the Spark 20 Pro and the Infinix Hot 40 Pro, they could've replaced the depth camera with an 8mp ultrawide and it would probably be satisfactory for the price, but then again, it's marketed as a gaming phone so camera isn't much of a priority for Tecno, if anything, just get the Camon 30 5G at that point, it has slightly better chipset and better main camera, it still has the same set of cameras with the 2mp depth camera, and no 3.5mm jack and SD card slot.
Build quality is not ideal, I'll admit that the design and feel to it is nice, but man that plastic back loves to get smudged very easily, I couldn't express this enough but a case is very much necessary, you cannot use this phone caseless. I also highly advise getting a screen protector too, the display got no gorilla glass protection, I have one but it has a black outline around it which interferes with the display and ever so slightly thickens up the display bezel, so get a clear screen protector I guess.

Nope, Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G is still not in Nigeria. Only GOD knows why. All we have is Pova 6 Neo, which as I see as a joke and a total waste of money.
I saw some on AliExpress. But the specs are totally different. I'm considering getting one there.

Attention attention to all Pova 6 Pro 5G owners and new buyers, please do check your IR blaster is working or not, i understand you might not care about the IR like i do, but please do make a test on it before your warranty is out in future.
I can't do any remote control on TV and Air conditioner, i believe my IR blaster is originally defected since day one i got it.
I didn't test the IR initially until i tried to use it now. But it didn't work, i handle my device very carefully, no dropping on the ground or whatsoever, i believe it is the original hardware defective.
I did another confirmation by pointing my pova 6 pro 5g IR to another phone front camera lens with the selfie camera on but can't see any flickering light from my pova 6 pro 5g when pressing the tv/aircon power on/off button from the remote control app, it has no response and no flickering light being seen from the front selfie camera screen, so i confirm it is faulty.
If your IR is working, you should see the flickering light when pressing the on/off button from your remote control app.
Please do take note that human eyes can't see the the IR LED(infrared signal), you must use another phone lens front selfie camera to check your IR is working or not.
If you confirm your IR is faulty i appreciate you could highlight in this forum, if too many faulty IR, that means it is an defective during manufacturing, hence i could report to Tecno, but that's no response here, i assume it is an individual set only, then this is really unlucky for me to get the faulty one.
