Tecno Spark Slim concept features unbelievable 5.75mm profile

Ahead of the MWC, Tecno announced the world's thinnest smartphone, the Spark Slim. At only 5.75 mm thick, it features two 50 MP cameras and a powerful 5,200 mAh battery.

A significant caveat in this announcement is that the phone is merely a concept — there's no information available regarding a launch date. While the company will have demo units at the MWC we are unlikely to see it in the market in its current form.

The Spark Slim features a 6.78" AMOLED display with curved edges, offering 1224p resolution and supporting a 144 Hz refresh rate. It achieves a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and includes a 13 MP front-facing camera.

The battery is 4.04mm thick and supports up to 45W fast charging. Although the camera bump adds slight thickness, this is still an impressively compact device.

Tecno has not disclosed the chipset for the Spark Slim, stating only that it features an octa-core CPU. We do not anticipate a flagship-level platform, as that would necessitate an advanced cooling system, which simply can't fit at this size.

The Spark Slim will be presented at MWC in Barcelona. We plan to attend the Congress and will try and spend some time with it and tell you how it goes.

bro why does it look like the leaked iPhone 17 air???

A concept means they weren't able to make it work, it probably shuts down due to heat as soon as you turn it on.

So now there's some extra space for sliding-out physical keyboard.
