The Huawei nova 13 series could arrive on October 22
Initial reports of a mid-October launch for the Huawei nova 13 series have been refined – the new mid-range series is now expected to be unveiled on October 22.
This hasn’t been confirmed officially, but there are some clues that point to that date. UncleKanshan notes on Weibo that a current promotional price drop for the nova 12 series ends on October 20.
That’s a Sunday, but Huawei tends to launch new models on Tuesday – hence, October 22.
This is just speculation, of course. The nova 12 series launched on December 26 (a Tuesday) in China and went international in March (reaching Europe in April). If UncleKanshan is correct, then the 13-series will arrive two months earlier than its predecessor.
The Huawei nova 13 is expected to wave goodbye to LTE and go all-in on 5G. We might see Kirin 9010 chipsets in all models (there should be at least vanilla, Pro and Ultra variants). The vanilla model is rumored to have a 50MP rear and 60MP front cameras.

I heard that the Nova series doesn't have Whatsapp or Google Play Store. Well, if that's true, this is exactly the kind of phone I need. I just can't wait to buy it!
