The Lenovo CG Slate is a new education tablet for India

ConveGenius has been making great strides towards bringing interactive education solutions on the Indian market. The organization is quickly drawing in partners, the latest being Lenovo. The CG Slate is the result of this collaboration - an affordable Android tablet, running the company's software suite that grants access to ConveGenius content, previously only available through B2B clients in State and Government centers an some large NGOs in India, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

The content in question is specifically tailored to aid in the education for Grades K-5 and come with the promise of interactive learning. Jairaj Bhattacharya, MD of the ConveGenius Group commented on the launch saying:

We are positive that CG Slate’s interactive lessons, games, videos and movies will enrich the overall learning experience of the young generation, and would be a real aid for parents.

It terms of hardware the Lenovo CG Slate tablet is identical to the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20. Its specs include a 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixel IPS display, a MediaTek MT8127 SoC with quad-core CPU and 1GB of RAM and a choice between 8GB or 16GB of expandable storage. It also packs a 2MP main camera and a 0.3MP selfie one, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, as well as a 3450 mAh battery within its 105 x 9.3 x 189 mm body, weighing in at 269 grams.

The Lenovo CG Slate is already available exclusively from Flipkart at a promotional price of INR 7499 (about $111) for the first 1000 units and INR 8499 ($126) after that. Besides the tablet itself, this also gets you a nice-looking branded carrier bag as well.

Just ordered now don't know what is the performance ....its for my 5 year old daughter ...and looks the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20 is same only the kids apps we are pay extra money...
